Cbn is still an agency of the federal government. The parties that went to the supreme Court believes that a provision of the constitution has been breached by the federal government and it's left for the supreme court to decide if it's true or not. Buhari is the one not obeying the supreme court order here not Rufai.

Maybe my initial post didn't convey what I mean accurately.I replied to a post saying who was Rufai to be disregarding a presidential broadcast. What I was trying to say is that the supreme court gave an order that all naira notes should remain legal tender pending the February 20 when it will hear the case. So the governors are acting within the ambit of the law. It's Buhari who is going against the supreme court order for his own personal vendetta or agenda . Buhari is the one acting against the law here not the governors.

I did quick on-Nairaland searches minutes ago.

I took some of your monikers individually and added keywords like:
- "EndSARS";
- "Onnoghen" (that's the forced out CJN);
- "CJN";
- "El-Zakzaky".
So many more. What I saw was appalling shocking. Still is. Too many to quote.

You Tinubuists defended Buhari when he flouted court orders; you justified it. You mocked EndSARS protesters. You defended CJN Onnoghen being forcefully removed illegally. You defended SC Justice Mary Odili's home being invaded. Your Nairaland posts bear testimony to these inhumane defence.

All of a sudden Buhari flouting court ruling on naira redesign is a travesty because Tinubu feels it affects his chances?

Unfortunately Buhari has been disobeying court order for this long. His DSS and EFCC even raided the apartment of judges with impunity. He even uninstalled a sitting CJN Onnoghen. Anybody expecting Buhari to become chameleon and change his color are having a hopeless hope.

The open rebellion of the APC Northern governors towards Buhari has shown that Ethnicity is not a motivation for Nigeria politicians but pure self-interest.

Flip the situation and switch Buhari with a Southern President. These Governors would have been called outright tribalists, Fulani jihadists who wants to burn the country down and sabotage the Southern President to install their own Northern, Fulani man.
