Ganduje is bluffing he should be disregarded, the dollar stuffing babaringa governor is even talking, a well known corrupt individual that should rightly be in jail by now, Kano state would be hit by litigations and subpoenas its like ganduje has never seen before, I think Ganduje's case file in EFCC should be re opened for hearing, he's enjoying immunity, even if buhari jails him, his master tinubu if he wins would release him,

I can understand his frustration.

The billions of 500 and 1000 naira notes they wanted to use for vote buying has been rendered useless. Hence the fight to not lose those billions

You see those people bringing out millions of naira notes after the recently broadcast by Buhari? Those are politicians money.

They have few hours to meet deadline if not those notes are useless.

The Funny thing is that, even if you returned the old currency, you wouldn't get back the new one equivalent, it will only be paid into your account.

Good thinking,. All the Nigerian states governors are bigger than Buhari federal government. if they choose to destroy any bank that refused old notes and also revoke their c of o I think Buhari and his emefiele will either come to their correct senses or allow the power show to continue till Buhari is vacated from office.

Buhari is thinking he can initiate state of emergency in a state to remove any Governor but he has to give cogent reasons to the national assembly for support.

But thinking about this, I don't see the national assembly supporting Buhari and his CBN on the Naira change implementation. Buhari is also not ready to lobby some members of the Nigerian national assembly for support. He is not Obasanjo who knew his ways around the national assembly.

Buhari will surely loose out over this matter big time. Check it out.

Let the governors threatened the commercial banks with threats of eviction and stoppage of business in their states and the CBN governor will suddenly realised that he has no control and power over the commercial banks without the Nigerian governors support.

A big lesson for any future president of the Nigerian landscape.

Game on.

Expectation? Buhari to beg and rescind the Naira change implementation procedures.

One question the masses should ask themselves is this....why are the governors collectively more angry than the people suffering the real hardship...why were they not angry on other issues that affected the masses in the past....
these governors are fighting for their lives, only Bola Tinubu can guarantee them being in business after May 29, they will die there

Kano will work with the Banks that do not try to Sabotage Kano

Kano already has a strong Ancient Tradition of Storing Wealth in Gold

The Banks need Kano more than Kano needs the Banks

I'm patiently waiting for Lagos State governor to give the same order, so that people like you will fall into the trap, which may likely lead to more unrest in Lagos to enable Bubu to implement his plan fully. I called some of my northern friends that stays in Kano, to asked if they are still using the Old currency. He told me that nobody is collecting it, I was like but your governor said the old currency remains a legal tender, he replied; "Na e be bank or CBN, who he wan deceive" Talk is cheap, you can't give order on what you have no control over. CBN is in control of what should be a legal tender, whoever that is listening to any of these politicians outside CBN and the President is a BIG FOOL.

This is what happens when the societal foundation is not strong.

A very useless country.

I think Oga Buhari meant well, but his understanding of situations were his big flaws. In his administration part 1 and part 2, he showed lack of understanding to be his main flaw. Emefele messed up big time, the corruption in his head messed him up, maybe he was trying to steal more than oga Soludo.

I like the intent and timing of this policy, in America, they do this often but without too much noise, because they are guided by principles.

Emefele should start pointing at the treasury account diverters, so that the masses of Nigeria can stand with him.

Nigeria should really get serious on eliminating corruption, it can be tweaked but not to the detriment of the populace. I propose that the FG speeds up that rf technology for the npf and others. It should be that, the npf or other forces, even civilian security people should be advised that they can do security for gov officials, but they must be registered. It should be that, the rf updates every hour, it should also be that we have apps, if pulled over, regular people are supposed to be able to identify an official automatically, with a smart phone; And if another law enforcement is doing escort job, if he gets close to another law enforcement or people with a smart phone his identity should be revealed to the other law enforcement that he drove past, and the main office.

We need to come up with a very creative approach to solving crime, especially higher level crime from the treasury. If you are escorting someone, and tomorrow that person is under investigation, you too should be suspended until the investigation is complete. If that govt official is found guilty and the escort person did not spy for the govt, then they should be charged for aiding and abetting

To bring down the attack of treasury funds, we need to make all those who associate with gov officials and even 5 years after retirement, know that they will be charged as a group, their properties will be confiscated if guilty, and jail term is possible. They should pledge to stand for the betterment of Nigeria. And they should be open to being used as an undercover to fight the crime.

We are experiencing difficulties at all fronts. We are constantly strangling ourselves. No visionary and passionate patriots that really wish the country well.

Our number 1, needs to come out and deflect the blame for emefele. It was his decision to go that route, emefele presented him with options and was suppose to resume responsibilities of the project, but he failed. Failed woefully, now we have treasury criminals like this guy talking opata. We have lots of work to do.
