Getting new notes as a swap? That is not the essence of this exercise. The notes in circulation, though very minimal as a result of sabotage from top bankers/same screaming politicians, are not supposed to be the same quantity as the ones before. This is what we are all supposed to get used to.

The redesigning of 3 notes was because people kept collecting and storing them at home, thereby destroying the purpose of cash in the first place.

If you like storing money at home, then your bank account can do the same.

Even the new notes are now being stored at home. The few that has been released are being stored and hoarded by both individuals and banks that have them, so how on earth do you want them to circulate?

No matter the number of new notes being released, the same set of people that kept the previous ones would repeat the same process of hoarding/storing at home.

Oga be it supreme court verdict or not, the governor is only spewing rubbish and will end up giving people false hope.
Ogun state is not self sufficient, they will definitely transact with people from other states. As at yesterday evening, Lagosians are no longer collecting the old 500 and 1000 notes, even the lower courts in Lagos are not collecting the money from anyone again.
I have 1000 note with me now, tried spending it yesterday and everyone refused collecting it, in fact the woman that sells food to me everyday in Falomo there even allowed me to go away with the food I bought with the promise I pay her anytime I have enough new notes to spare that will not affect my transportation. She refused collecting the old 1000, same with bus owners and the rest.

They even announce it to you immediately you enter their bus.

Why do think your submission make sense, those who deposit their old note earlier do they get equivalent of the old note for old note? During GEJ there was higher insecurities bombing here and there, he changed 50 naira note under SLS as Governor of central bank. We never experienced this kind of bad implementation of naira redesign.
