One of the biggest arguments among the populace right now on YouTube is who wins in a fight between the Lion and the Tiger. An argument probably one of the biggest on the internet as a whole.

I wanted to go on and make an argument on why the Lion will obliterate a Tiger using my observations and studies, but thankfully there are many real live accounts and videos to prove my argument.

This debate might probably be nonexistent on Nairaland here but it's very huge on YouTube and other foreign internet medias.

Clyde beatty, circus owner and wild animal tamer, pitted Lions and Tigers for fights to the death and he wrote a book about it. The Lions were 3 while there are 4 Tigers, in 5 separate fights. All the Lions survived the fights while many of the Tigers died.

If I should start giving out my points to support
the argument here then this post will be too long so let me leave you with these videos to summarize.

All these videos are real footage and accounts from professionals who've been with these beasts for years. These are real fights and accounts not slapping match Tiger fans use for judgements and arguments.

That same mane you claim is its weak spot is actually it most strongest form of protection. That mane is like an armor, not even a group of other attacking Lions can take it down by attacking it from the neck.

Let me shock you! Do you know that a Lion can fight for literally hours non stop? No Tiger does that cus they gas out fast. Lions are fighters from birth. They are warriors built from the toughest habitat on earth.

Yes you're right a Tiger has a stronger hind legs which helps it in fights. But that's just as far as that goes, when it is faced with a Lion a Tigers paws to a Lions face does little to no damage cus a Lion has its thick mane for protection.

A Tiger takes down its prey by biting it from the neck, so does a Lion. But a Lion being bitten from the neck does little damage, the opponent will only end up biting thick fur. Where as Tiger has no such form of protection, coupled with the fact a Tiger has less stamina, a Lion will kill it after some prolonged time of fighting.

The Tiger can only win in the fight if it's a wrestling fight cus of the strong hind legs and the ability to stand on them and hit with the fore legs, putting the Lion down. But to the death?? Obliteration to the Tiger.

My man don't let sentiment cloud your judgement, a Lion is a warrior which never backs down for hours of a fight. And it can withstand serious live threatening injuries that will definitely kill a Tiger.

How can a Tiger's bite do damage to a Lion when the strongest bite to the neck does little damage?

Can a Tiger fight two Lions? No!! But there are many videos of a Lion fighting off two or more Lions cus the more a Lion fights the more it becomes angry and unrelenting. Its thick mane helps it continue to fight for hours with other Lions which a Tiger can't.

Let me disect your crabby delusional talk one by one. Note, I've provided videos for you to watch, so my arguments are backed by video proves and first hand observations from real Zoo care takers and beast tamers.

A Tiger's swipe will only push the Lion to the ground, that all cus the Lion is fully protected by its fur. But the Lion's swipe to the tiger does even more bodily damage cus it doesn't have any protection on its face and neck. Bro?!

Here's a clue, go and watch every video under heaven with two of the together and show me where a Tiger is twice the length of a Lion. Both animals live In completely different environment, so the possibility or Chance of them meeting each other is very very low, Tigers live in Jungle, while Lions live in Savannah.

All of you have gone on Google to search on websites of people who measured size difference then favoured the Tiger, but the thing is, real fights to the death. Zoo keepers and animal tamers who train and or observe these animals say Lion dominate Tigers. This is is no some research bias but real life happenings.

"All search on Google" supports a Tiger cus it is big not cus it has real life ability to defeat a Lion. Lions fight bigger beasts in their habitat and win to the death. A Tiger's size can even be its disadvantage cus it's too big it can't last long in a fight to the death.

Understand that just like you, I can go on Google ad sort out my own bias sources where a Tiger is at a disadvantage a nd bring them as proves but I show you videos of real live testimonies, not some hearsays of people who've never pitted them together.

You see where your argument fails you? You all continue to use the same old argument and misconceptions, "a Tiger is Stronger and bigger"! Yes of course a Tiger is all those, not always though but on average. But I've shown you people videos of Lions dominating, I've shown you videos of zoo keepers' accounts still you go back to the same argument of bodyweight. A Lion has its name to counter ab attack which a Tiger doesn't. A Lion can fight to the death for hours which a Tiger doesn't.

All of you Google folks should note the keywords, "Fight To The Death!" This is not some power fight or slaps but the ability to withstand hits and bites and still come out on top. A Lion does that for a living against even bigger Lions. A Tiger is just that, bigger, but it's size can not keep it from a Lion's aggression, tenacity, stamina, brute, alpha character and mane to protect it neck, which is a Tiger's main attack spot.

For every one formidable prove of real threat you show me of Tigers fighting bigger and stronger animals I will show you three (3), with proves, of Lions fighting as big and even bigger opponents.

Tigers are mostly in the jungles while Lions in the forests, and every well informed person knows forests, especially African ones, have seen of the very Biggest animals in the world. Tell me one predator of Tigers in the wild without looking up on Google? Say without someone writing it for you?

I want everyone reading this to know, while I provide real live testimonies and video proves to show Lions win in fights to the death, all Tiger supporters just go on Google websites for two minutes and they come here to become experts. Talking only about size difference instead of the real issue which is fighting till only one is left standing. Which based on real accounts and real fights the Lion come out tops.

Yours is even funny cus you just admitted to a Lion beating a Tiger here. But how do you know a Siberian Tiger or a full grown one without someone showing it to you, cus you don't seem to know?

You only see a big mane on a Lion and you still concluded, cus you can't deny, that a Lion beats a Tiger. But because a Tiger can't develop a mane you assume its not a Siberian or its not fully grown? Your defense is weak.

Thank you! But note the way they all argue this. "Google search". But Google can not give you a true result, they only show you which is bigger on average and then they conclude. In the animal kingdom, especially among predators, especially when dealing with a Lion, size doesn't always matter. A Lion has its armor which is the mane for protection against any attack to the very neck most presdators come at.

These people search bodyweight and that is all they base there weak argument with, but when a Lion is at equal bodyweight they turn and say the Tiger isn't fully grown. That's cheap!

Oga I have seen a couple of fights between Tigers and how they snap each other's neck to death, but I have never seen a Tiger snap a lion in his neck. Lions are too hairy, tigers teeth can't break their necks. Although Tigers weigh more than lions but when it comes to fight Tigers tire out easily than the Lion..

How dare anyone compare a tiger that is a coward to a lion which is the king. A tiger that spends it's whole life stalking it's prey to a male lions that spends it whole life fighting fellow predators to maintain his territory.
