We are the artchitec of our own misfortune. Abi, buhari own massive vote in kano, let them all bear the blunt. Until we all push aside religion and tribalism, n vote a creditable person, let all persons join hand and over haul the system. Let their be revolution in all 36 states, shout down the system completely. If u visit a sane country u will understand an average life in nigeria is not worth living. You will only live a better life if u are at the end of the food chain ⛓️. So brace up for more suffer pro max, if we continue with this status quo.

Nigeria hospitals and healthcare professionals don’t actually understand what emergency 🆘 medical services means how can they be waiting for an alert before attending to the woman? Such hospital or doctor and nurses on duty should have been fired for killing an innocent woman and unborn child, . Save life first before asking for money.

In addition d husband fault here as well, I remember one of my neighbours made an arrangement with me to help drive his wife to d hospital when her EDD was close( he wasn't in town).. d man gave me 50k in cash just incase..When I drove them(her mom was around) to d hospital, I wasn't even asked for any payment till the woman was taken to delivery room & d doctor was attending to her

Once upon a time, the front page of this forum was constantly filled with news of kidnap and banditry.

All of a sudden, we go days and weeks without such bad news. Why? Because of this cashless policy.

There's no doubting the efficacy of this policy. However, banks need to step up their IT infrastructure to minimize the pains on Nigerians.

This country can be better. The elites that have weaponized poverty are holding us back.
It hit the banks all of a sudden too ni

That's pure negligence on the side of the hospital not Buhari or emefiele fault

There's a saying that the corpse carried by unknown mourners to the cemetery is just like firewood to onlookers. I don't blame you for praising a policy that is killing pregnant women and sick persons in hospitals. I only wish that you experience the same thing so that we can really confirm the efficacy of the policy from you. Then you'll know how far. Nansense an ingredient

The problem of this country is the media.
The death of the woman has nothing to do with Transfer. A simple health insurance scheme by the government will solve problems like this. Have you gone to any developed country where ppl are waiting for Transfer or cash payment before they attend to emergency?
The Government policy and investment in the health sector is very poor. Let us call things for what they are rather that twisting things just to condemn a policy you don't like.

This death is enough for the country to erupt into massive protest and demonstration.
We have no government.

Who knows maybe buhari does not want to do election.
He may want to continue forcefully.
But we will reject military rule.
Kai fire for fire.
I would be emitting fire from my mouth like Sango, the fire that would consume them.

How does bank alert make a woman die? Make it make sense. Buhari has given the order. Live with it.

Any hospital that stress on money before attending to an emergency situation are killing their patients, lots of people have died from this act, you must not have cash with you or make a down payments during an emergency they can start attending to the person n ask the husband to look for means to get the cash, I once took my wife to hospital where she delivered I wasn’t even asked a dime even when they said she will be having CS for delivery I didn’t pay a dime before they gave me paper to sign then took her to the theatre I don see my twin girls before I even make a down payment

If they detain anyone because of money now you people will still cry out that the hospital is being wicked. I'm sad to hear about the deaths of both mother and child, but the fact is that a lot of things need to be fixed in this country, and it's not just at the government level alone, every company and institution need to up their game for things to get better. For example it is an aberration for a whole hospital of that status not to have POS machines

Since they are in the north illiterate full there well well so am not suprise that they don't have pos machine

1. How did banks handle the introduction of ATM into the banking system?

2. Were they "forced" to upgrade their IT infrastructure?

3. All the e channels you have been enjoying, were banks "forced" to provide them before they did?

4. Are there no better ways of getting banks to upgrade their IT infrastructure than using force?

5. If the policy is a good one, why the use of force?

6. Who did the indirect compulsion?

7. In this case, is it indirect compulsion or direct compulsion?
Keep asking dumb questions. You’re probably dealing with a curse.

Many steps left unattended before commencement of the new money regime. Bandwidth for banking services should firstly have been increased. Then security, reliability and speed. All these should be in place before the money swap and it's timeline.

Exactly what happened to me . sad My wife took my son to clinic , they refused to do test because of 200 naira gloves , they refused to take transfer , no pos, oya take 1000 naira note n give me change they refused that they don't have change angry . My wife had to come back home without doing the blood test n seeing doctor for treatment. The annoying thing is that they are so corrupt, they end up selling the gloves because they don't use it
