The current money issues and inflation should help people understand how the money system works. Money like distance is just another Scala metric. It is like distance. Some measure it in feet, other prefer metres. The definition or distance of a metre can be adjusted and it will still be convertible to feet. There was no physical cash but buying and selling took place by measuring the products against the money system and exchanging them at once.
