There is a very real possibility that Peter obi may take Lagos.

Read this article

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2023/02/pvc-4-175-m-voters-disenfranchised-in-10-states/

It says that there are 5M plus collected PVC in Lagos yet Apc has never gotten up to 1M votes ever not even with the bullion vans in 2019 or with Buhari popularity in 2015.

Even Sanwo olu couldn't get up to 1M in his own race.

Now if you read further it says INEC office Lagos received 1M PVC dis yr... Over 90% were collected. That's over 960K new voters. We know that majority of the young people registered just to vote Obi know Lagos.

Now if obi can convince even a percentage of a those 5M people with PVC to show up on election day and he can turn out Alot of the new 900k+ voters... He can flip Lagos.

Even Apc admits that there is a possibility - - https://tribuneonlineng.com/obi-may-create-upset-for-apc-in-lagos-but-arise/

Even Stears admits that Obi can win Tinubu in Lagos.

Lemme tell you.. Even if Obi doesn't win the general election beating Tinubu in Lagos will be a Massive win still.

Do you know how parties worked for their people to register in CVR? Because a few people went there and started taking selfies shouting Peter Obi, you think everyone there is for Peter Obi. Just wait, all these speculations will only make your imminent defeat more painful.

i live in lagos all my life...these things i know

yoruba has the highest population despite igbos large population, next is igbos, then i term the rest non yorubas

if igbos vote for obi say like 85% cuz many are also underage...i know for sure that aside the northerners, the rest of the non yorubas who are of voting age will vote for Obi...

now if u combine igbos + non yorubas - northerners, the answer is a voting population that is bigger than YORUBAS..again a handful of enlighten and unbiased yorubas will still vote for obi...so its no painsaying that obi will win lagos hands down....

Many Yoruba people will vote for Peter Obi, but it's very very unlikely for an Igbo person to vote for Tinubu.

Exception in both cases are party loyalist and politicians.

Tinubu is not sellable. I have an uncle - a core PDP member in the East - who has insisted on voting for Atiku Abubukar, and I had to give up because I couldn't convince him to do otherwise. He keeps saying that Atiku is pan-Nigerian who has shown that he would create a lot of jobs.

The same reason Obi will win in Abuja is the same reason he may win in Lagos:the enlightened population in these 2 key cities.
His winning in Lagos,if it happens, won't be because of the Igbos alone because even if all the Igbos in Lagos vote for him and other tribes vote for other candidates,he won't flip Lagos.
But if the number of middle class to upper class and educated but poor earning or unemployed people, that turn out that day increases,he would win the state.
Abuja usually doesn't vote doubtful, poorly performing parties.Buhari lost there in 2019 despite being an incumbent.

It is not a handful of yorubas.

Up to 30-40% of Yorubas in Lagos will vote for Obi.

All my Yorubas friends, except one, are voting for Obi. In fact, generally, some of the most fervent supporters of Obi are Yorubas.

And Lagos is where the most enlightened Lagosians are.

PS: I dont want to argue with anyone on this. Saturday is election day

😆 How can one even begin to sell Tinubu to people without appearing stupid.

His appearance and the way he talks is too condescending for a presidential candidate

You first time voters really need to learn the history of Nigerian elections.

In 2011, Fashola got 1.5 million votes to be re-elected actually, he got 1,509,113 votes.

If you didn't know about this then why should we take anything else you say seriously?
