I saw with my korokoro eye, how APC aspirants were campaigning and boasting that they don't transfer money that they come with cash and that was what they dropped for their supporters. Minimum given to each heads was #50,000.

They made a mistake delivering the first judgement against the pronouncement of the president in the first place. They should have protected the authority of the Supreme Court by not getting involved in this roforofo. You don't warn someone not to do something when you don't have authority to deliver the consequences. Your judgement should be Supreme, protect ur supremacy first. Don't bark at who you cannot bite.

Can we all now see what Buhari & his cabal have turned d judiciary into... A very political judiciary, all bcuz Buhari has no respect for d rule of law. The apex court even saying they'd nt accept being used as a scapegoat in d political war. Buhari has subjugated other arms of government. Democracy is in turmoil! Buhari's 8 yrs reign will continue to live in infamy. I blame that Tinubu for all this though.

it is going, even when there is no Naira swap it failed sometimes that is not an excuse, cashless policy will only get better as more Nigerians embrace it

You can't know more than Justice Okoro who stated that the exparte order stands pending the determination of the suit.

So if you and your landlord are in court and the judge issues an exparte order that you should remain in the house while the case is determined, are you saying your landlord can throw you out immediately after the next sitting?

I don't understand how you guys reason. Do you know banks are collecting old currency now till after election, therefore those monies are still useful. So what changed to use it for vote buying? I think CBN just punish Nigerians unnecessary

The bolded is why I label Nigeria a jungle. In a sane society, the Judiciary is empowered to check the Executive where there is alleged abuse of power. Together with the legislature, they all are three distinct and equal arms of government. But in Nigeria, the judiciary is in a subdued position. That's why things have turned out this way. The whole legal profession needs real re-orientation and reform. All the voluminous works read, critical legal analyses done and strict etiquette observed means nothing if the Profession doesn't get the respect it deserves
