no he knew notherners cant really turn out for obi so he has calculated well, if i knew obi chances are bright he would have worked with obi, results coming from the north are mad only God can stop BAT. with result from the north, obil will come 3rd over all

BAT isn't even getting the chunk of northern votes. Divide the so called bloc votes into 3 and tell me whether Obi's votes from SE & SS won't cancel them.

Obi is not coming third. Dead that talk and let us face the present realities.

So what are thoughts for saying that?

The only place OBi will win with a wide margin is SE, but the small voting population plus voters' apathy will be a problem.

Atiku's getting votes from SW,SS,NC,NE AND NW
Tinubu is getting votes from SW,SS,NC,NE AND NW
Obi is getting votes from SW,SS,NC,NE AND NW

The only candidate getting votes from SOUTH EAST is obi and yet his people called us tribal bigots,ok

You don't use results from few polling units to arrive at the conclusion of election results.
The results he posted seem authentic.LP has done pretty well but APC has a formidable structure in Lagos that only a strong alliance btw LP and pdp can dislodge.
Obi may do very well in Lagos, but unfortunately may not defeat Tinubu in Lagos.
LP may likely win in Abuja

Tinubu is actually a good politician, knowing fully well that many SW youths, endsars people, majority of the Pentecostal churches (against Muslim-Muslim), haters of Buhari's borders cloture, scarcity of fuel and cash and other bad policies, Osibanjo indifference, Obasanjo and Ayo Adebanjo supporters, PDP Dollars, the 'wokes' and the rest like other minority groups in Lagos and SW would be against him;
He simply held on to the northern APC governors that helped him win primary election. His pally with wike is also top notch as wike already made up his mind to help both the two southern candidates.

In lieu of the above, big respect to Tinubu and associates if APC wins.

see you. SW votes will cancel SE. The little different in SS if any will be cancelled by NE. Tinubu already won all 6 states in SW.

Kwankwaso won't get much. He's popular in only a few states so I think it's likely a two horse race btwn Tinubu and Atiku in NE &NW. Tinubu might snag 40% overall there and that with a clear majority in d SW will push him through

Devil works at night

Bat don't sleep at night

A lot of tweaking will happen overnight

Especially in Lagos, Rivers and northern states that have refused to upload their results

Imminent defeat awaits the rulling party tomorrow if they don't act overnight

They have all gathered in Abuja right now, trying all possible ways to bribe the INEC chairman and officials

The odds are against them

PO will succeed!

Is not total votes that cancel but the differential. If Obi scores a landslide in the SE you might have to adjust your calculations.

But Atiku is looking for power. Remember OBJ. When he came in in 1999, he had no real structure within the PDP. You know what he did? He chased out Solomon Lar the PDP chair at the time and one of the founding fathers. You see how Buhari comot APC party chair put magomago caretaker committe. What I'm saying in essence is that as president you have a very powerful leverage.

Get there first then deal with Wike later. It's possible.
These two cases you mentioned are a bit different. For Obasanjo, it wasn't his doing per se, rather it was the handiwork of the political machinery on which he was riding at that time. And for Buhari, being the president gives him the political resources to do and undo. After all, he is the number one party leader. But Atiku Abubakar doesn't have that kind of political machinery at the moment. Like you tightly said, he should have appeased all parties first, then grab power and do as he pleases (just like Buhari). cheesy cheesy

By the way, it has been fun discussing politics with someone who truly understands politics (unlike those Andrew Liver Salt supporters). My apologies for initially calling you a 'political neophyte'. You really are politically inclined. cheesy cheesy

Atiku's feud with Southern governors helped him. There would have been many defections. Some Northern leaders were not sure of Atiku's viability.

With Atiku's below the par performance in the South. Tinubu's path to Presidency is becoming clearer.

Take SW
Take NC (narrowly courtesy of Kwara, Niger and Kogi)
Stay competitive in NW (minimum of 35-40%)
Stay competitive in NW (minimum of 38%-40%)

As long as Atiku does not leave NW and NE with 65% or above. Tinubu wins outrightly.
