My take from this election

If Tinubu wins it would 99.9% percent because of obidients and 0.5% because of G5 governors.

In fact the G5 is overrated, if the governors themselves are losing their senatorial bids.

Igbos are way too emotional. There was no chance Tinubu would be this close to victory if they had voted PDP even with G5 governors.

Soludo warned them.

It would have been a bloodbath victory for PDP if they were united.

2027 is warning to them. Will depend of how Tinubu does

Open a thread for it. Igbos rigging election in Yoruba land. Yorubas are undoubtedly the weakest and spineless tribe in the world.

Let it be clear, you never shunned Ojukwu. You voted PDP (Obasanjo) against Yoruba candidate Olu Falae. Obasanjo only bears Yoruba name, he is not a Yoruba man, and he has always being against Yoruba people in favour of other tribe. Igbo has never supported Yoruba for once and the contest then was strongly between two yoruba titans(Obasanjo and Falae), and the latter was the favourite of the Yorubas. Yoruba youths made a big mistake supporting LP in this contest. It only shows they are not vast and the reality is dawn. Now we know LP is a tribal party.
tell them, they don't know.Olu Falae was Yoruba candidate.thank u for taking me back to history.

What an arrant Nonsense. What's the population of Yorubas in any constituency outside Yoruba land? Did Tinubu go to Onitsha and picked a candidate? Or do you want Anambra to come to Oshogbo and and make him commissioner. My Brother leave your location and go and establish in other areas. Buy land, build house, help to develop those places. Bring your brothers to occupy those zones. Set them up for success in businesses and academics. Let them reach a voting capacity and vote in their person. That is how it works.

kpompey:

Yorubas are not like them. Tinubu gave them commissioner slot. Igbos do emerge as Local government chairman in Lagos . A privilege that is not possible anywhere in the east. Yet, they remain ungrateful because of their selfish interest, calling Tinubu names because of politics.

And how will Tinubu win when he is only sure of Sw win narrowly

He's winning north central and close in both ne and nw.

Even if atiku wins both ne and nw which is a big if, he wins with small margin. Tinubu will cancel that margin with wins in SW and NC.

Even if obi wins se and SS. He won't get anything significant in the biggest voting regions (nw and ne). He isn't doing well in SW apart from Lagos. He can't win NC either.

Anyway you permutate it. Tinubu wins by total votes. He and and Atiku will get national spread but he wins by Total votes.

I don't know how politicians don't learn from history, I mean recent history.

The United opposition won the election in 2015. Now, in 2023, they think they can do it alone. All this fragmentation is giving Tinubu the lead.

I saw it coming but many are still turning a blind eye to it. They will call it rigging

So no Yoruba man in Onitsha, Aba is doing well. You brought your relatives to Lagos because it is conducive for growth. Why can't you stay back and develop the east (Onitsha, aba, enugu and other places). We don't play politics of bitterness, and can never bite a finger that feeds us.
