These is a picture history of the FCT election results from 2011.

All declared candidates won 25% of the FCT as shown . Even the runner up won too.

Winning or having 25% of total votes in FCT isn't a must to be declared winner.

FCT is considered a state just like every other ones.

I think the constitution is clear.., it said 25% in 2/3 of the states and fct… it did not say or fct.
The person must get 25% of votes cast in fct and 2/3 of the states.

Where are not talking of status of fct for administrative purpose
The winner must make the 25% it's a must
Except they want to bring yobe technicalities or the hope uzodinma type of judgement

25% in 24 states out of all the states in Nigeria including FCT. So once you hv 25% in 24 states you’re thru never mind FCT… separating the terms by saying ‘states’ and ‘FCT’ simply mean that FCT took another name due to its dissimilarities compared to states but it’s included in the description of the rules.

Some of you are just shopping for victory through every means possible. It is you that would say the election was rigged and should be cancelled. At the same time, you will be the one to say 25% is required in FCT to declare a winner. To make the argument for 25% in FCT, at least, you must first accept the results of the election.

You need to. This argument about the FCT is due to APC's poor performance in Abuja. It was never an argument few days ago, and even in previous presidential elections.
