Here is a thought. 13.1 million people did not vote for APC, out of the 21 m who did vote.

If those 13.1 million people had voted for one party, APC would have been voted out. But because they voted for 3 different parties, the votes got divided, and APC won the election.

The truth is, APC lost this election. Most Nigerians did not vote for them, nor do they like them. But they won because Atiku and Peter Obi and Kwankwaso and Wike could not at the very least compromise with each other.

That is the sad cold truth. A disunited opposition loses the election.

Like I said, APC did not win this election, the opposition lost it.

Elections does not work like that.

Would those people have voted for Atiku in the South?

Would they have voted Obi in the North?

Some people will rather vote Tinubu than Atiku but will voted Obi

Some will rather vote Tinubu than Obi but voted Atiku

Those that voted for another candidate in Kano would have more likely voted Tinubu as an alternative.

Those that voted Atiku are not people interested in his history or the plans he has for the nation. They look at his religion and tribe. They would have voted for the candidate that shared closer similarities. That’s not Peter Obi.

17 Million Nigerians voted against Atiku and PDP with Adamawa flavor
18 Million Nigerians voted against Obi and PDP Lite with Anambra flavor

And DON'T forget that Tinubu got at least 1 in 4 votes (25%) in a good 30 states of the Federation. The highest among all the contestants!

APC won because they rigged the election.

Under normal circumstances, that is if APC and INEC did not rig the election. Peter Obi would have won in an almost landslide.
Atiku would have been 2nd and Tinubu a distant 3rd.

Check it, even with all the rigging, Obi still won lagos state.

Tinubu is only capable of ruling Nigeria for 8 months. Come back here and quote me in future . He will promise and promise but Nigeria will return to the way we all know it.

Do you in your right minds actually think that Tinubu will be the one making the decisions in this country?

Well, I knew from the start that Presidency is between APC & PDP. Never underestimate the power of party structures. Like OP mentioned, if members had not been shared amongst the three, their candidate would have won with a very wide margin.

There is no need crying over a spilt milk.

My question is, what happened to the 80 something million people that collected their PVCs when only less than 20million voted?

What really happened to the remaining 60million?

Use the same logic for each of the other contestants.

8 million people voted him, more than they voted his closest challenger.
