Before one becomes a governor in the southwest your pedigree will already speak for itself.

We don’t do nzozogbu neither do we put thugs to rule over us by threat and violence. Only responsible and respectable persons who we are proud to put forward.

This is actually the first time in an election year that more than 70% of the citizens are saying a NO. The land is quiet like people are mourning. Abi person die? Congratulatory messages from foreign leaders aren't even pouring in. Majority of the youth are crying foul. Isn't it obvious you are not welcomed? Even Buhari that we all know was rigged in in 2019 we still heard people chanting "Sai baba". It is well

More than 70%?
You guys are plain delusional!

You called south west politically docile people? It's obvious you're a poor student of History and I'm not ready to educate you. Just check between south west and south east, the region that is politically docile.

To be honest , I really love ortom, he is a hero .. his pple first and history will remember him
Which hero? It baffles me folks stay elsewhere and comment on issues they are ignorant of. If you really want to know what is happening in Benue State, ask an average Benue man and you'll know the truth. He got his second term because he took advantage of Buhari's ineffectiveness to tackle the Fulani crises in Benue State. Development=Zero, pensioners are owed over 30 months of their pensions and you call such a man a hero? Worker's are owed salaries. Benue State indegenes have reciprocated the gesture, you can carry him and make him a senator in your state since he's your hero, cos I'm very sure you are not from Benue State.

Some Nigerians have become wiser. They have chosen not to sit back and allow their lives to be controlled by a few men and womeb, who used thugs, intimidation and stolen money to keep the people under subjugation. They veil has fallen off.

Yes, the tsunami moves across. Many more will give way or retire completely. OBIdience/LP opened to eyes to many across party lines. Now people are beginning to ask questions.

It can only get better. We must control our security agencies, as some of their crooked officials are bent on destroying our democracy. INEC must be reorganized to ensure fairness.

Nigeria can get better.

Who occupied these positions now? Are the occupiers same class of cabals or you just want a change of names not better replacements?
If you don't get it right don't dare complain because president is just one officer.
Meanwhile, you are still calling INEC useless, that the elections wasn't fair. HYPOCRITES
Re: 2023 Elections: 10 Serving, Ex-Governors Swept By Election Tsunami by EggonBoy(m): 11:07am On Mar 02, 2023
Tanko Almakura

The tsunami also removed Tanko Almakura, the former Governor of Nasarawa State. He lost his re-election bid for Nasarawa South senatorial district.

Almakura was defeated by Mohammed Onawo of the Social Democratic Party. Onawo got 93,064 votes to defeat Mr Al-Makura who polled 76,813 votes.

Almakura lost Nasarawa South to PDP not SDP.

SDP clinched Nasarawa North and West.

Which former Governor is a current senator in the Southwest?

They won't even try it.

Ibikule Amosu of Ogun-State.
Late Ajumobi of Oyo-State.
Otunba Gbenga Daniel of Ogun-State.

What happened is simply politics. I won't be surprised if some of these people that loose contest again in 2027 and win. They need to start planning just like Tinubu did many years back.

I know Peter Obi supporters will quote me for mentioning Tinubu. If you don't accept defeat, there is no way you can think straight of next thing to do.

For every competition, there must be winner and looser.
You are right, but if you try to observe, obi knows he won't win but just trying to represent his people. He failed under PDP. So they are all the same. He just decide to do what he did. Tinibu played his cards well . But if your salary is below 200k n you support Nigeria corrupt system, I still pity you

An average Nigerian is corrupt not to talk of the politicians. It will only take God himself to save us from corruption in this country. You can see during the cash scarcity, how bank managers and POS merchant showed how corrupt they are. The same thing goes on in all governmental and non governmental organizations.
