Bola Tinubu, the candidate declared by INEC as the winner of Nigeria's 2023 presidential election has told Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party, not to mislead “gullible” Nigerians.

In the press release, the APC chieftain refuted Obi’s claim that the Labour Party won the 2023 presidential election, adding that the former Anambra State governor is determined to “delegitimise the mandate freely given to the President-Elect by majority of Nigerians”.

Tinubu’s statement reads:

“We make this brief statement in reaction to the Press briefing held earlier today by the defeated candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, wherein (in his now well-acknowledged penchant for spewing falsehood) he made the outlandish claim before the world that he won the 2023 Presidential Election, but he was robbed of the victory.

“Having been officially declared winner of the 2023 Presidential Election by the Independent National Electoral Commission and having received his Certificate of Return (along with his Vice-President Elect), the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would have ignored this continuous false claims being peddled by Mr. Peter Obi and his supporters. But we recognise his motive of doing this is to simply delegitimise the mandate freely given to the President-Elect by majority of Nigerians....

Then why are you calling for reconciliation talks?

You initially called Obi a nollywood actor now you can’t keep Obi’s name out of your mouth….Obi this Obi that as if he’s your babe grin

Tinubu should stop ranting all over the place, not all Nigerians can be misled like his dumb asslickers. Peter Obi will meet him in court. End of story

The court case is going to be an interesting one. Can't wait to see it start.

Meanwhile, will Tinubu be answerable to cabals just like Buhari did? Is he going to be a cabal of himself owing to the fact that he's the Alpha and Omega of Lagos?

Interesting times ahead of his administration. I see him stepping on toes

They had high expectations that INEC’s promise to transmit voting tallies electronically from polling stations would eliminate ballot stuffing. The outgoing president, Muhammadu Buhari, had staked what remains of his tattered reputation on a clean contest.

Yet the INEC badly misfired. Voting started late in many districts, depriving millions of the right to vote. The system to upload results from 177,000 polling stations stuttered, causing legitimate concerns of vote tampering during long delays.

Violence was troubling. Party goons invaded many polling stations in what appeared to be blatant acts of intimidation. The Financial Times witnessed armed men remove a presidential ballot box in Surulere, Lagos.

Yeah! Tinubu won but via the criminality of voters intimidation, ballot box snatching, brigandage, and corruption

If you are an INEC official SPO PO etc please listen carefully.....

If you fail to upload results at the polling units on Saturday, angry Nigerians are going to lynch and mob you.

Tell your superiors.

Dear INEC, Nigerians would not accept anything less than upload of results at the polling units. Anything short would put your staff in harm's way.

Dear Nigerians, when you hear "defend your votes, it includes from INEC too.

Don't say that you were not warned.

I see some idiots in other threads comparing the disaster that happened on Saturday to what happened in the 2007 election.

Atleast in 2007 the ruling party then PDP made attempts to you know, 'stress' themselves to rig and do all manner of things to win that election. But you see what happened on Saturday meeeeeeen Nigerians are serious trouble and don't even know it including their urchins calling themselves supporters.

I am just imagining what happened that day......

On election day after millions of Nigerians especially young people had voted under the rain, some sustained injuries, some endured so much pains standing for hours etc..

In the evening of that election day:
Tinubu would just say in his mind "shey una don fool una self finish thinking you can vote us out abi"

He picks up the phone and calls inec chairman....

"Mahmood we would send across the numbers for you to call out at the national collation centre then you announce me as winner and that's it.

He drops the call. And balances back on his chair angry

Impunity too much gan! shocked shocked
