Labour, the Labour Party candidate is in a clear lead. Should there be a rerun in a few poling units, it won’t affect his lead.

Majority leader MUST come from the party that has the majority in the house. NNPP may take minority leader by your sharing formula.

True. Even in Sokoto, no house of reps seat has been decided. They were all inconclusive including the three senate seats. They would be decided next Saturday.

In the list you produced all Parties, from NNPP downwards, will work with the ruling Party because APC has the political Carrot.

Sitting and elected Politicians in Nigeria, from Governors to legislators, usually only always join the ruling Party, or work with it, because it gives them affinity with the centre which is everything in Nigerian politics and often the difference between success and failure.

This is why Tinubu struggled for two decades to get to the centre. It is why Umahi and co will always join the ruling Party rather than the other way round.

Lastly, politicians are not like you and most ordinary Nigerians. They are not in office to fight silly and fruitless battles.

They want success and actualization of their permanent interest. This is often gauranteed by been close to or working for/with the centre rather than fighting the ruling Party.

Lol. To get 5 members from APGA, SDP, NNPP etc won’t be a big deal. Already, some of the opposition members were APC before moving to other parties as a result of dispute from primary elections. Hon. Abdul Mimini Jubril is one of them from Kano NNP. He was Tinubu’s campaign director before moving to NNPP. He will work with APC and May even move back to the party. The SDP members from Nasarawa are also former APC members. SDP is an ally of Tinubu so they will work with APC.

Same as House of Assembly.

Minority leader is meant for the party that has highest member aside the majority party.
The only thing they can do is they can nominate anybody outside what the minority party wants

During Obasanjo's time we had Chuba Okadigbo of the ANPP as the Senate President....those were interesting days at the National Assembly...Okadigbo use Obasanjo eye see weeen....but dem impeach am last last.....

Only one federal constituency in sokoto has been officially announced in favour of the Pdp that is shagari federal constituency. From the results so far in the 11 federal constituencies in sokoto pending when the rerun in conducted in the cancelled polling units, the APC is leading in 6 federal constituencies in Sokoto state while the PDP is leading in 5 federal constituencies.
