This morning a friend of mine received a call from a number this morning asking if she was Among the people who applied for financial relief from fcmb, convincing her fcmb is choosing accounts numbers at random and crediting them,all she needed to do was confirm a code sent to her number.

The naive girl got the said code from fcmb then send it to the scammer, immediately she got debited 50k.

It was probably a schedule payment she confirmed when she sent them the code.

She came crying to me today and explained everything to me,I know she fell for a cheap scam,but the money is for her children's school fees. She already went to the bank to complain but they just told her they would work on it and gave her statement of account then blocked the account.
What can be done to get back her money please.

The account name of the paga account that scammed her is DAVID LUCAS.
the scammers number is 07045371276

I really feel her pain o. Sorry if I sounded insensitive, but there are elements of greed when someone is scammed and if that attitude is not addressed one may fall victim again. I feel for her. But please next time tell her if she didn't apply for anything she should not entertain such evil calls and messages. On this one she can take the details to her bank for further investigation. Thanks

That money unfortunately is gone. They probably sent it to a POS operators account and collected it.
