In the streets or ghetto it's even worse, in your neighborhood, people are just bad, am not talking about moderately bad o, every body is just looking for one way or the other to scam, to deceive and prove to you that they are the sharpest, wisest or smartest guy on Earth.

Even you, you that is reading this thing you are doing it, take for example:
honor an elderly person in public but humiliate or abuse a kid in your home.
Talk to your boss in the office with respect but treat your cleaner/security with rudeness and disregard.
Everyone is bad, nobody is considering what it's like to be the other person, maybe we do but we don't care much.
My own experience i used to be a phone repair technician in the local suburbs of obalende. (typical streets) my experience varies from trust issues to attempted set ups to lying and deceipt by "customers"
i saw humanity for what it truly is, it's unfortunate.
