what I learnt...Igbos are first class tribalist with high double standard.

People like Joke Da Silva, Seyi Law, Eniola Badmus and other celebrities who didn't succumb to the bullying and intimidation deserve commendation.

Those who could abuse, bully, curse anyone online for their political choice are capable of doing same thing physically if given the chance.

The incidence at Lekki is unfortunate, but why close your eyes to the obvious one at Akwuzu River where bodies were clearly seen?

Lagos government even set up a panel of enquiry into the incidence and all parties represented. Guess what happened somewhere else, someone who should be questioned went to court to prevent being grilled by the panel.


I expect that the same energy deployed in dragging Lagos Govt should be directed to whoever was the Gov at Anambra when the bodies were found at Akwuzu River.

It all reek of double standard, hypocrisy and perhaps a path towards a predetermined agenda.

From my own personal experience with these people.In 2011 i voted and campaigned for Barrister Okoli,but to my surprised Igbo started insulting yorubas,calling them Ofenmanu,dirty people and all sorts...Since then,i channged my orientation about them.

Igbos are the only Nigerian tribe that have cheerfully and joyfully supported Presidential candidates from all other tribes since 1979.


In 1979, Igbos massively supported Shehu Shagari an Hausa man, leaving Nnamdi Azikiwe a famous Igbo son.



In 1993, Anambra people gave their vote to MKO Abiola a Yoruba man, leaving an Igbo son Sylvester Ugo who was contesting with Tofa.



in 1999 Igbos again abandoned Odimegwu Ojukwu and voted massively for Olusegun Obasanjo a Yoruba man.


Igbos repeated their massive support for Obasanjo again in 2003 leaving other Igbo contestants.


In 2007 Igbos massively supported Yaradua a Fulani man.


In 2011 Igbos supported Goodluck Jonathan an Ijaw man.


Igbos repeated the same massive support for Goodluck Jonathan in 2015, and even when Goodluck lost to Buhari, Igbos didn't abandon Goodluck like others did, instead Igbos stood defending Goodluck and became the number 1 enemy of Yorubas and Hausa-Fulanis just because of their defense for Goodluck.


In 2019, Igbos supported Atiku Abubakar another Fulani man.


For the first time in history of Nigeria, in 2023, Igbos saw quality in Peter Obi and decided to support Obi even against all odds of him winning under an unknown party, and the only thing Yorubas could do was tag it tribalism because Igbos didn't abandon another more qualified Igbo man to support an old, sick, corrupt Yoruba man called Tinubu.



Obi was busy telling Nigerians how he would change things for the greater good of all, while Tinubu and his supporters went about mocking Peter Obi that he is an IPOB agenda wasting his time and resources contesting under structureless party, that only Igbos would vote for Obi, bla bla bla, yet the same Yorubas are the ones accusing Igbos of tribalism for supporting Obi an Igbo man but Yorubas supporting only their Yoruba sons in Presidential elections doesn't mean tribalism to them.


A Yoruba man Obasanjo was President from 1999 to 2007, another Yoruba man Osinbajo is Vice President from 2015 to end in 2023. Meanwhile an Igbo man haven't occupied Presidential office nor Vice, still Yorubas took it upon themselves that 2023 Presidency is their turn again and instead of wooing and appealing to Igbos, they are threatening Igbos and calling Igbos tribalist for supporting an over qualified Igbo man for President in 2023.

Well you are entitled to your opinion, it's not a matter of who's do what in each other's land. You all always blow out the insignificant things. Prior to now I have attended many maritime conference and majority of Nigerians I see in those conference are of Igbo extraction. Now the argument is why is that a trade dominated by a tribe is now restricted to a region that isn't there's? This is the psychological prisoners setup, if your country and all it's leaders are honest with themselves they know the eastern and southern region ought to have seaports. I have never seen in my life a country with Soo much population locate a seaport in just one region, it is not done anywhere except Nigeria. So don't be fooled my friend, you can't have a large share in running a nations treasury while been denied the right to the political process. You want what's happening to die out? permits to produce seaport should be given to the southerner most region. Till this happens, you all are living in disillusion.
