Supporters of the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi on Sunday chased away the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State, Peter Mbah from church.

Mbah had attended the Ugwu Di Nso Annual Youth Lenten Retreat with other worshipers.

The annual event under the Catholic Diocese of Enugu was held at the Diocesan Pastoral/ Catechetical Centre, Ugwu Di Nso

When the presiding Priest called on Mbah to speak, supporters of Obi popularly called Obidients started shouting Obi, Obi Obi

All attempts by the priest and Vicar General of the diocese to prevail on the supporters to allow Mbah talk were rebuffed.

They continued with the chants until Mbah left the event venue with the help of some security operatives and his supporter

Peter Mbah was in the right place at the wrong time

We warned them, that they should be closer to the people but No, they felt like Gods. Once they win elections, they will switch of their phones, will hide in 50 SUVs convoys intimidating people.

Nobody has access to them except their cronies. We warned them, but they believed in the ultimate power of money and rigging, which is now failing them.

Frank Nweke should have joined LP, it would have an been easy ride for him. The Guber elections in Enugu is between LP and APGA. Others are not part of the equation.

South East politicians committed a great political suicide the moment they turned their back on Obi. Soludo will never get a second tenure.

They are not smart anyway

Warned them. Too bad they were foolish enough not to key in on time.

Omo-Agege, saw the signs and immediately pallied with Obidients. I told people that Delta has been quiet and peaceful. Everyone gets along with Obidients for their own political good.
