Imagine usa declassifying a footage of reaper drone from their airbase in chad; which was constantly monitoring our airforce coin fights in our own airspace, not even in our border region. Around north-central, the question here is, do they even have respect for our airspace or not? Now when a casual balloon flew over, the whole world was freaking over. The solution is simple, all french, american, russian airbases should leave the continent; because if one puts, another will want to put to push their said "allies" to their best interests. what is even annoying me is that, despite all the spying and intrusions; sell weapons to us, a big no, took a full media props for some tucanos; oya help niger or chad or benin that you have airbases in to fight insurgency, another big no. Oya russia sold some mi-24 or so, now you're sending very powerful drones to monitor it's work then declassifying it

I found out that the countries you and Lurker4long mentioned all have something in common.

Russia's hands in those countries are largely elite/actor-based than state based.

This erodes my earlier stance that Russia hasn't shown interest. However we can see that Russia's interest isn't in statecraft (common ideology) but to grab a share of the pie
