Yorubas have no issue calling each other out, and it is clear to all except Igbo tribalists that Yorubas are very accommodating and liberal with other people. Forget Lagos, you won't be counting just 5 Igbos in Iseyin or Ado Ekiti, you will find hundreds of thousands with many actually born there.

The Yorubas in Igbo land, as Omoluabis, will never disrespect their hosts. There is no way Yorubas will ever call Awka no man's land even if they own half of the properties there, and the history of Awka will never be their business. They will respect whatever they met on ground.

Onitsha Business School. This is nice. I really hope their approach to Business Education is Afrocentric and captures the great entrepreneurial spirit in Onitsha.

How I wish it can gain more recognition.

When I served in Ebonyi they were going to retain me as an assistant payroll officer(even when I was not igbo) but I turned it down cos the salary was poor and I feel working with the government at the local level would limit my potentials. But my experience there was great and felt welcomed and at home. The local govt chairman was my close pal and I still keep in touch with most of my friends there.

Most of this hatred are as a result of some unscrupulous persons on social media from both sides. I always have a feeling that the majority tribes are our biggest problem in Nigeria especially in this era of social media. They're trying so hard to burn this country.

When I hear the narrative that Igbos are not welcoming to Yorubas I laugh cos I know it's only ignoramuses who haven't travelled to South East that say that. In Imo state here, I have lost count of my Yoruba friends and colleagues who are landlords and involved in one business or the other. Jide Taiwo is a foremost real estate mogul in Owerri. GOFON is a household name in poultry etc There are many more like them who have pitched their tent here and are doing well. But the uninformed bigots will want us to believe otherwise.

There's many of them in my area. Owerri. My former landlord is a Yoruba man from Osun State. The biggest provision store in my street is owned by a Yoruba woman. My current neighbour is a civil engineer and he's Yoruba. The veterinary medicine industry in Owerri is dominated by yorubas; out of 5 vets whose phone numbers I have, 4 are Yoruba. The licensing office lady who helps me renew my cars' papers us Yoruba and she lives with her family in Owerri. 1 of the mechanics who fix my car is Yoruba.
All these people are doing well in Owerri and there are millions more. You need to leave your enclave

I know the guy very well. He had his office at the popular New Market Road Onitsha

I met him when I wanted to enroll for my ICAN and to write the professional examination of the Chartered Institute of Strategic Management or ISM. He was then the president of the Institute in Anambra and Coordinator for the entire SE. Very talented guy and his knowledge of local business environment is second to none. He was part of those that encouraged me to sit for ICAN. I had my first degree in Engineering.
