I do not know about that but this singular act is rare in the Nigerian political space. I still want to be pointed to someone who had done it in the past.

Tho , the ticket belongs to the party

NNPP has since replaced him with Rufai Hanga but INEC said no. Thankfully the Supreme Court this morning agreed with the Court of Appeal and the FHC earlier decision that since he left the party on his own, NNPP was right to replace him before the election and the replacement stands. INEC will have to comply with that order now.

I wonder why he has rejected the position. Did he contest and win or not?
