Tense final minutes but I had a sense of confidence the defense will hold up.

Really great result for you guys and Italian football. Ac Milan back in the UCL quarters after a very long painful hiatus, And damn that maignan is better than I thought, France keeps on grooming surplus talented blacks day by day, So that's how you people will go from lloris to Maignan and Alban lafont? Congrats once again
If to say wage bill issues no dey sha, I would have loved my dear barça to go for leao since our left wing is rubbish atm, Crazy talent

Thanks baba. It was a painful and tough path to get to where we are today but I love the progress. After winning the Scudetto last season, it was important to progress past the group stages of the UCL and today we made it into the quarterfinals. We also have to ensure we continue with make it into the UCL especially, as we plan to build our own stadium.

All season, after Maignan went down, I knew we will suffer because his shot stopping doesn’t tell the entire story. He is important in coordinating and leading that young defense. He is also a good ball playing goalkeeping with exceptional throwing reach to start an attack. As for Leao, he is such a beautiful talent who has the future in front of him. I think his contract situation and burnout has held him back this season but he is still having a decent season.

Reminds me of 2011. The second leg at White Hart Lane.... Times of Joe Jordan, Vedran Corluka, Flamini, Gattuso...

That 2nd leg ended in a brawl.
O man!!! You have taken me back. The first leg was crazy nasty with tackles flying everywhere. I remember the Flamini high double boot tackle that nearly amputated Corluka. The 2nd leg was even nastier. A lot of those tackles would earn those guys a straight red in todays game.. and not forget the famous Gattuso head but and slap on J. Jordan.. We ended up losing that series on 0-1 aggregate but it was definitely a game for the ages.

Yes, game for the ages!

And I like the fact that no one's looking in Milan's way or noticing their resurgence this season in the UCL.

Sneaking into the semis would really be an emotional moment for every Milan fan out there. Can't wait!!

Francesco Camarda's development is coming along pretty good. In 2 seasons, he should be ready for the first team. A lot of expectations on the shoulders of this kid but he looks the part from what i have seen. Happy birthday CDK, be patient with it, the talent is there.

I was really curious to see who you people would use to replace donarumma, Your scouts really did a good job getting maignan, Knocking out a by far expensively assembled totenham is a big feat, Hopefully Napoli and inter join you guys next week to show Italian football is on the rise again in Europe

It is a bad draw for us because Napoli are the hottest team in Europe right now. They are a fluid team that move the ball pretty fast and force your defense to move around, 2 things Milan's defense struggles with. We play differently in Europe than we do domestically, hopefully, that can help us. Also, I was hoping Italian teams would avoid each other until the semi-finals so that we can get a representative in the finals. If we are healthy, I will go into the game with confidence.
