Gov. Nyesom Wike of Rivers says he did not support the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi overtly at the Feb. 25 election because nobody discussed Igbo presidency with him..



Publicity Secretary of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Dr Alex Ogbonnia stated on Friday in Enugu that Wike made the declaration at a meeting the socio-political group had with him in Port Harcourt on Thursday



Ogbonnia stated that at the meeting, Ohaneze Ndigbo confronted Wike over his alleged role against Obi during the presidential election.

Yes wike has the right to support any candidate of his choice, nobody is disputing that, but Rivers people are very angry with him because he overtly used cult boys, criminals, police and army to rig election for a particular candidate.

That particular act has made Rivers people to regard wike as a criminal.

State agents accompanied by security were going to some polling units to hijack ballot boxes because they were voting massively for Obi.

In some units were Obi won the results were charged to favour Tinubu.

If all these does not amount to working against Obi, then tell me what it is.

APC voters in SE were intimidated and harassed, many polling units where election didn't take place yet results were returned for LP. Polling units in Churches were massively rigged for LP. SE are the biggest riggers. Besides, when Wike was rigging for GEJ & Atiku in 2015 & 2019, returning over 1million votes, you were all praising him. Now that the table is turned, you have to accept it the way it is than sulking like an hypocrite.
