And I wonder why we so much celebrate and defend those that has made this country a mess

Tankio. That’s why the prosecutor is hitting him hard.. he neither lacks intelligence nor resources to explore donation from relatives. He has PhD in Law and too many investments and properties in Naija and beyond. His wife is a medical doctor, so they knew what they had set out to accomplish with an illiterate street trader.

Keep twisting your false narrative. Ekweremadus knew that it was illegal to pay for kidney…the boy didnt know about it. The courts and hospitals have established that the boy was not aware that his kidney would be harvested.

I believe the case will be dismissed eventually. The burden of proof is on the prosecution to prove all they've alleged with a strong evidence to tie in the Ekweremadus to the alleged offence. The evidence so far has been merely soeculative and cannot be taken as fact .

There is a higher threshold for prosecutors to convince a judge that criminal case has happened in order to issue a warrant of arrest. Naija folks talking, have been never to a court to hear a civil case let a lone a criminal case.

Let us assume that everything you wrote is true and the UK prosecutors manage to prove that, Ekremadu would still go to jail because it is against their laws.

Didnt you read the reported court reports? A petty street trader is is whisked away to Britain and you think he didnt know what he was going for?

The doctor was a middleman organ trader. . He had all the forged documents necessary according to the previous article. And the good senator, lawmaker that he is, and his doctor wife knew exactly what they were doing. Inducing someone to forgo their health in return for a kidney for his daughter, maybe two at a later date. A kidney that his family generously refused to give them.

That was a remarkably cheap kidney.

His wife is a medical doctor? And they say the profession is of the highest standards. A medical doctor who didn't know what her daughters condition was, who didn't know why they were pretending the victim was her/her husband's nephew, who didn't know the legality of what she and her husband intended to undertake. Yet he's come up with his claims. The huckster in question was in the hands of powerful and well educated people who could've wanted revenge on him for not doing as they bid.

Don't be surprised the daughter will come out and deify her parents, or that they will see themselves as the victims in their predicament.
