We are talking about potential, and the state has it.

But I think over the last few years, they've made some progress especially in terms of delivering infrastructure, if they can get the sea port to work, that would seriously change the outlook of the state. It's a market all around them, from Portharcourt, Calabar, Anambra, come north Benue, Nasarawa and then the NE will all pivot towards that axis for trade and commerce.

They should keep on doing the right things and derive lessons to avoid those wrongs, economic empowerment of their zone and state is a win for every single person within that axis. It creates the opportunity for more to come.

For the sake of argument, so if some people do not pay taxes, the rest that do pay hefty multiple taxes should not have adequate social amenities and the taxes collected should be embezzled by government officials.?

Link rural to urban connections, you can live in the village and work at the town.
Easily send goods to desired destinations, opens up the community to patronage.
less rural to urban migration hence increasing rural effectiveness.

When government creates enabling environment for business to thrive, it's good but not enough. Another factor that helps businesses grow is people's GDP per capita and disposable income.

Therefore, I won't stop complaining until Akwa Ibom and Ebonyi State governments massively invest in human capital development.

The kinds of jobs that people from those states do should better be left for Hausa/Fulani people who don't value Western education.

Akwa Ibom state is too rich to allow its people to live from hand to mouth. You need to visit places like Lagos to see how your people are suffering....the same goes for Ebonyi State.

The money generated from taxation is too insufficient to make any significant changes. That's what I am emphasizing.

How do you differentiate between the taxpayer and the one not paying taxes? If all Lekki Phase 1 residents paid their taxes, the government could forgo collecting tolls on the Ikoyi link Bridge and Lekki toll gate.
