Baba was a confirmed goal scoring bricklayer 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yekini bricklayer and Osimehn is what cuz I don’t see much difference in their styles of play... I saw someone rating Boniface than Osimehn technically and I asked what is technicality in football.Real CF technical players I ever seen in eagles color are Samson Siasia and Kanu Nwankwo.Presently have not seen any CF close to them technically.

Update: Manchester United Have Joined The Race Of Signing 20-year-old Free-scoring Nigerian 🇳🇬💪🏿

According to our source, the former English Premier League Champions, want to sign Gift Orban, and still have him stay out on loan at KAA Gent.

This is coming few days after Chelsea's scout were speculated to have traveled to Belgium to see the kid in action.

Osimhen is more like a drogba and I will say to an extend yekini but the first mentioned duo are better than yekini technically

It surprises me when many here berates osimhen’s technicality but to me he’s aspect of the game in terms of technicality is way above average

Go back and watch some of he’s goals mostly this season you will observe that he’s technicality level hv risen a lot compared to 2 seasons ago

The most technically gifted players I hv seen play for the super eagles remains jay jay, kanu and mikel. Not saying that others didn’t posses a certain level of that particular quality but the trio I mentioned above are the ones I think has it up to the level of 80%-85%

currently in the super eagles the most technical player in my own opinion is iwobi

mourinho will never convert a well built, physical and imposing striker like boniface to a midfielder

Mourinho love physically built number 9s and will work hard in adding aggression to the lad’s game if he has the opportunity to hv him in his team

Jose is a defensive minded coach who wants he’s players to sit back and keep shape while deploying fast wingers and a robust and pacy number 9 up front for hold up play, aerial dominance and physicality to bully defenders

This is the reason why he signed lukaku for united and when the Belgian wasn’t delivering much goals he brought in zlatan

At inter he had milito and etoo, porto he had benni, he’s first stint with chelsea he brought in drogba and during he’s return he signed costa from ATM

Spurs he had kane, Madrid he had benzema and even brought in a more physical Adebayo on loan

And now in Roma he has turned Tammy to a more physical striker than he was before
Zlatan was in.manure before Lukaku.

Funny I’ve never seen Siasia’s clip before. I’ve always known him as a coach tho, and I thought he was a defender or so. What’s his game like, did he play for any team in Europe?

Yekini was far better than all your present strikers, except Osimhen who still need to do more to overtake him.
Osimhen can in d future become greater but he still need to score goals that will qualify us 4 WC,win us nation's cup, score over 37 goals for eagles before he can lay a legitimate claim of being greater or better than Yekin as far as nigeria football is concerned.
Osimhen can b rated higher than Yekini in world football only because he didn't get d opportunity to play in top 5, but not in Nigeria football.

Yekini is a legend,
u cannot be allowed to run him down with such adjectives.
Talk about technicality,
How many of ur present strikers will hit the ball with such technique that he uses to score free kicks, none.
Yekini's no brick layer,he was an elite striker.

my preferred striker in the national team is osimhen who is likely to break yekini’s national team goal record if he remains fit

You are just emotional bro 🤣

With the latest fifa World Cup format, I see no reason why we shouldn’t be in the next World Cup and at least get to the knock out stage (at least round of 16).

Our attacking department seem to have swollen in numbers in recent years and I expect them to mature by 2026.

Our midfield and defence (including goalkeepers) seem to be average at best at the moment. I pray more world class talents would emerge from now till 2025. I feel this is why the upcoming under-20 world is important in regards to emerging talent. I hope we won’t waste it.

If by the end of this year José Peseiro is still underperforming, NFF should take the courage to fire him and hire a competent hand to handle the super eagles. We can’t afford to waste the generation of attacking talents we currently have and that is growing. I’m not saying we wouldn’t get more in the future, but most times these things tilt towards another area.

This has been the reality of super eagles. Getting a balance squad for the super eagles has been difficult for so many years. There was a time we had good midfield and weak forward. Now we have an average midfield and great forward. There was a time we had it all good at the goalkeeping department. Nowadays, all we do is pray that our goalkeeper wouldn’t fumble whenever the super eagles plays.

I believe that if we can grow some midfielders who can connect well with the current forwards we have, the super eagles would cook really well. The midfield doesn’t have to be debruyne or Modric level kind of players. We just need those that can do what is expected of them like the 2022 Argentina’s midfield.

That is why we need a coach that knows what he is doing. A coach that knows how to manage the talents available to him and set them up in a working system that would deliver results. If Peseiro is not delivering, show him the door.

Siasia moves with guile when with the ball. So much intelligence then. He was more like the architect in the early days of Yekini, until the USA 94 qualify match against Ivory coast. When he went for glory against laying the ball on a platter for Yekini. SE ended up losing the game 2:1. After the game came the era of Da bull. That was how he started warming the bench in the SE. But his goal against Argentina in the mundial said it all. SIA.1.

There was one assist pre 94 world cup at the national stadium that Siasia gave Yekini. That assist had the whole stadium applauding! Seeing is believing to appreciate that orgasmic assist.

We don’t have a balanced team at all and we aren’t patient enough with conservative coaches. Our team reeks of Good strikers, Below average midfielders, defenders and goal keepers. Yes, with a quality coach you can possibly win a Nations cup. We need to first find a way to create a balanced team

The Tunisia and Ghana loss displayed how easy it is to defeat Nigeria present team despite an arrays of Good forwards. All you literally has to do is to saturate your midfield and allow us to dictate the game from the win and it is “o Ti Lo” our coaches has to prioritize our Midfield and goal keeping department in order for us to Win tournaments and Titles

Samson Ebowei Siasia was underrated when it comes to ex eagles rating.I watched him closely right from local scene to Europe.I remember him in Flash Flamingo with Osaro Obabaifo and later with bronze winning under 20 team that went to Moscow 85 that had Andrew Uwe,Monday Odiaka,Waheed Akani,Alloy Agu....he moved to Europe to join Lokeren from El Kanemi and had six seasons before moving to Nantes in France and slugged it out with Japheth N’doram and Patrice Loko for starting eleven.Samson Siasia and Yekini partnership remained the best in GWG.I remember his ball control and assist for Yekini against South Africa in Lagos and his goal against Argentina at US 94 showed how technical Siasia was in GWG...honestly I rate him than Kanu Nwankwo In GWG.
