It is caused by quackery on employee side and a greater degree of witchcraft policies from organisations.

You don't need a prophet to tell you the next gold mine 2050 - 2023 = 27 years.

We the young parents of this age should point our children towards this career path not all this Mass Com. and Philosophy crap folks are wasting 4years on in the university these days.
This is a very disturbing comment. Certainly not the best mindset to have, to be frank with you.
Whatever course you study, the drive for creatively applying it's potentials to your environment- social, political, cultural, financial or what have you, makes the whole difference.
We have lawyers and law makers, but our judicial system is a huge mess.
You can't compare it with our Western counterparts.
Tech encapsulates applications of diverse reasearch end products , methods, resources , channelled through digital set ups to drive productivity and development in a civil space.
So tech is not just computers. That's a flawed idea that most of us have.
Sophisticated systems are not just made of digital structures, but well laid out civil procedures and principles. Where you need to queue up, queue up.
You see how the BVAS was rubbished. Sophisticated technologies can never work in a barbaric system.

Shithole country and the funny part is the citizens keep electing useless leaders.

I completed my NYSC years ago and started working remotely for a company in US. This was even before I travelled abroad. Tell me why I'll work and get paid 200k monthly when I was earning upwards of 700k without having to leave my house.

Now, I do more of management while my remote workforce handle the day-to-day operations of my web-based businesses
Pls which It skills can I learn I'm in 200 Level study biochemistry
now

As a freelance digital marketer and self learning Cloud Engineer, I won’t even accept an offer to work in a Nigerian company with my skills.
One gig of 12 hours would actually pay my salary for the month. Someone on the first page was offered 30k for a month (12 hours times 20 days) lol, Nigerian companies are not serious. The CEO who replies emails will earn 1.5M but the Tech talent will earn 30k.

This is just it. They expect a DevOps and Cloud Engineer to be collecting ₦300k on site job, when foreign companies are offering $5000+ per month to work remotely?😂 And he can have 2-3 of said Jobs, working from home. Nigerian companies are not ready to evolve.
I hardly see a cloud engineer jobs(aws specialists) that offer remote opportunities to Nigerians. But the job market is huge in US and Uk . Please where the u recommend for job especially opportunities for an aws certified cloud practitioner .

The worse is yet to come. For any country that allows their colonizers to empty the bedrock of their economic growth with job sponsorship visas .

Hummm I laugh in spiritual powers.

The teachers that are supposed to teach the basics are daily being shipped to the UK.

The inadequate nurses and doctors that are supposed to help improved our health sectors are doily shipped to Saudi and the UK

The caregivers that are supposed to help in taking care of our senior citizens are already seated in the ship heading to another modern day sugar plantation.

The IT guys that are suppose to man our banks, firms etc are being paid an average of $500/ month and are finding their way to Canada and UK and US.

The question is that is it that we have them in excess that makes us think we can ship them out cos they are supplus to requirements or what?

Who will teach the young one coming up, and who will teach the young doctors and IT guys ?

This is a country where we have quackrey side by side with professional.
Always alternatives to every professional jobs.

Bricklayer , welders , capenters now all call themselves engineer even mechanics.

We have heard someone that never attended a medical school operating on people and people that never went to the university let alone attended a law school defending suspects in court of laws and are still doing it.

If nothing drastic is done ..... We will all live to see the result. That's why we need to vote in young brains , fresh ideas and not self entitled blockheads
