It's that serious ma'am, stop manipulating people thinking it's normal.
You ought to be ashamed of yourself for that accusation.

How is it "manipulating" asking someone for a favour?
You know, it says a lot about who you are.
You must be a very unkind person that not only hate doing good, but also hate it when others do it.
Just look at how you read deep meaningless meanings into a simple situation.
Change!

😂

Look at this one, I do transactions everyday, only deposit above 9,999 receive #50 charges, dey use yourself talk nonsense.

Moreover people now use Opay, Palmpay and Kuda, yet I went to a place and the seller still charges #100 for each transfer despite Opay being completely free, I was annoyed at the seller and had to resend #100 for the food I ate.

It happens, we are bad people but we only call the government bad 👎
Well, this is my business and my charges are final!
Initially I was only keen on cash transactions for my products and due to CBN brouhaha, I shut my stores for days...and guess what? Customers kept thronging my phone with calls. You know why? Because my products are a necessity and they can't get it any other place within my axis.
They pleaded with me to get POS. So I did. Therefore they should be responsible for the inconvenience I get with POS transactions.
I'm not being fair? I'm bad? Well, if you don't want to incur #100 charges per purchase, pay me with cash!

And oh, lest I forget, I only accept new naira notes.

Am the account number of many people so many people, so when they work for a customer they will call me to give themy account number, so they can transfer money for them, when the transfer is done, I will call them that it is done, when ever they want to buy something they will call me again and give me the account number of the person they want to buy something from so they will call me again and I will send the agree orice so that is how it's is done and I keep journal for every transaction, so the cashless policy has really change our life.. and I collect my charges, I let them understand what is going on... In every transaction, so honesty is more than the money...

A lot of POS operators are like a roaring lion, seeking whom to devour. cheesy
God will help many POS operators as what they're doing is not different from what PMB/CBN/FG is doing to NIGERIANS...
I just paid ₦150 per ₦1000 few minutes ago.

An average Nigerian is constantly on the look to take advantage of his/her 'naive' neighbors.

Yet, they want the leaders to be different. kiss

Thread for those who cook.

I don't cook, if you don't have POS and still don't accept transfer, first thing I'd say to you is "You're not serious with your life" then walk away.

I'm never going to use POS agents ever again, they can all go to hell. And for vendors that let greed take over them, I'm never patronizing them forever. Charging N100 for N200 purchase is an act of criminality.

One thing I learned is "hausa are the most honest people without greed in Nigeria" and the 2nd thing I learned is "Nigerians are opportunist and greedy people"

I wish I could take this type of decision. I just went to pay ₦150 per ₦1000 now if I must go out tomorrow morning. And I must go out.

Hausas are Nigerians too. So, not all Nigerians are opportunists and greedy.

Some Hausas had to increase the cost of their goods because they were the only ones ready to collect the old notes in my area.

GREED, WICKEDNESS, EVIL ARE THE NATURE AND NATURAL INCLINATION OF EVERY HUMAN BEING.

HOWEVER, A DECISION MUST BE MADE BY EACH INDIVIDUAL TO CHOOSE EVIL OVER GOOD; CONTENTMENT OVER GREED; KINDNESS OVER WICKEDNESS.

It was about transfers made to your account not transactions involving debit cards.

I had to buy food stuffs in bulk including biscuits and beverages for the kids. I have a woman who accepts transfer without charges that I buy soup things from, God bless her soul! I get little change from the fuel station when ever I buy fuel and they do ' money back' . God help us to navigate this difficult period! "If one is a Nigerian,he no suppose go hell again. All i can say is Alhamdulillah (Thanks to Allah). Some of yall out here living life easily compared to others, even get to buy data (any access to Internet) to come online, Yet you still complain. Why do people always complain? Do you think life comes freely without difficulties? Instead of wasting your time complaining you should be looking into smarter ways you could help, thank your God that you're still alive and living better than others, Because both i and you know that no matter how difficult life gets, it could get much more worst.

In Abuja, almost every shop has POS machine. Even Mallam that sells onion and tomato has POS now. Almost everything, I just use my card for payment. And Opay has been helpful too.

If you have money in your bank and can't do transfer, nor pay with the card. You can actually use your opay app to debit your card and make the transfer.

NOTE: This is not an advert for Opay.
Please how do you do that with your opay app I just tried it and it's like I can only add process payment from cards linked to my bvn

[quote author=mariahAngel post=121821628]To tell you the truth, it has not been that easy.
Especially with sellers of smaller food items like tomatoes, peppers, vegetables, soup ingredients.
To buy from sellers of these items, one has to have cash to pay, as they hardly accept transfer.

There's a trick I use to get little cash; I go to my bread seller, buy some bread pay through transfer, then I ask my bread seller to allow me transfer more, so that she could give me back in cash, and she's kind enough to oblige me.
That way, I'm able to buy the rest of the things I need.

So, how have you been coping?

Do you have sense?
OK. If you believe you have this much👌🏼of sense, explain to me how asking someone to allow me transfer, while they give me cash is "manipulating"? Explain o, so that it shall be well with you.
Not me begging the person to dash me money, or me insisting o, just asking.
This person being a woman, and not a child o.
A person I usually buy bread from, at least, 5 times every week.
So, because I used the word trick, you took it literally? Are you slow?
Do you even know what "manipulating" means?
