If indeed he was popular like the op said, why was there widespread violent activities by thugs loyal to the APC? Why did they go to PUs of their opponents to destroy or carry ballots boxes if indeed sanwolu was popular in those areas or LGAs? Why the apparent intimidation of voters from a particular region before and during the election? Why the change of venue from a secured location to an exposed area for some PUs? Now the OP is chest beating because apc is apparently winning after a successful disruption of their opponents votes using their thugs and now masking it as with some unnecessary and inconsequential reasons! I ask again,if a governor is popular and has done well for his citizens in his state, why would he need thugs to aid him in winning the election by disrupting and reducing the votes of his opponents? |

DGOODLYF:Change your 'they' to we so you can get attention. With tinubu's 8 years, you people will see good policy that will open Nigeria for business, your monopoly will be broken, then we hand you over to Hausa for another 8years. By then old age will catch up with you and your likes. Don't think it will end here, To get C of O now go hard since your agenda is to come die in another man's region. Children of hate and anger. |

NapoleonHill:. I am not Igbo, but that not true, how many YORUBA usually vote?? If it's all about the Yoruba, then why intimidating Voters?? Allow everyone vote na. Anyway the Igbo brought that upon themselves, the years of spreading hate, and making enemies outta other tribes paid off for them. The Only reason Obi lost is because he couldn't get votes from the core North, and that's what work for Tinubu. It's high time the Igbos start making amends, and embrace other Nigerians the way they were embraced outside Alaigbo. If the Igbos have not spent years persecuting the Northerners, Obi would have cruise to victory easily. |
