Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has won the gubernatorial election in the state for another term.

The election was conducted in all the 33 local government areas of the state on Saturday.

Makinde who contested on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been declared the winner of the election.

The returning officer in the state, Professor Adebayo Bamire who announced the result of the election, declared that Makinde who is seeking another term in office defeated all other candidates to win the election.

Bamire, the Vice Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University, announced that Makinde scored a total of 563,756 votes to defeat all other candidates.

Bamire while speaking announced that the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Senator Teslim Folarin scored 256,685 votes.

The Accord candidate, Adebayo Adelabu scored a total of 38,357 votes.

Seyi Makinde wins Oyo guber Selection. This is unarguably the worst election since the return of democracy. Buhari failed in everything.

Apc and tinubu is a disease..the worst election so far in Nigeria history. Imagine ballot box snatching was rampant in this era...taking us back to old age

If you can't handover your daughter or sister for Marriage to a sick old man with dementia not physically and mentally fit and he is not aware of his environment with parkinson disease but you want this same man to head over 220 million Nigerians then may you and your family know no peace

If you pretend not to know what we passed through in the hands of Buhari with his incessant travel for medical check up to the extent that the whole country was complaining and even the yorubas were saying he should hand over to a young vibrant Osinbajo then may you and children know no peace

Leave Southwest politics alone, face your own region.

Why are Igbo so obsessed about Lagos elections? Why is it that 90 percent of people crying over the Lagos election are Igbo? Is there really an agenda? Are there Yoruba crying all over Internet over the outcome of southeast election? What is the course of this desperation? In an election between 3 Yorubas which is obviously imperfect, what is the business of the Igbos with it? Why not allow the Yorubas to sort out their differences? So many questions begs for answers.
