I have also been scammed by a Yoruba guy based in Ibadan. N my first time going to alaba international market was a Yoruba guy that took me there without collecting a dime from me. He fed me n we stayed in same hotel for days.

Your video is insightful, but it is wrong of you to associate it with Jiji as it can happen anywhere, even here on Nairaland. We call it MITM (Man in The Middle) scam and we have seen several occasions where it played out in the E-Currency section of Nairaland.

You could be terribly sued by Jiji for all you are worth if they see this video. Better still, modify the title and description of the post, then censor the video to strike off places where you mentioned Jiji is a scam, so that we dont lose the valuable message the video conveys about the antics of this inordinately smart scam.

My first and only scam experience happen Ed when I was much younger, during the days of naijaloaded and free browsing.
A guy pasted his number that he has cheat code for 2gig on Etisalat then.
I quickly rushed and call, dude told me to send card of 200naira which I did. Oya supply the code, nowhere to be found.
Well its a good first te but I've really learnt a lot since then.

This happened recently I really bleeped first was 10k then 50k upgrade boom withdrawal fee, maintenance fee when I requested for my money & wanted out they blocked me & they're still scamming unsuspecting Nigerians.
I lost approximately 110k to this crooks.
Meanwhile, I've reported the matter to the EFCC.

I was scammed right here on NL in 2005.
I tracked the guy to Delta State (Online).
Got his pictures and all.
Then I just decided to let him let him go because I was busy with school then.
I later served there and could have mess.ed him up but time heals all wounds I guess.
The incidence taught me an important lesson in human trust.
