HR, employers and hiring teams, please tell, which is a more productive worker? A male or female ?

If you have two equally qualified job applicants, a female, and a male, which would you go for?/what are the pros and the.cons of hiring either of them


Please this is no bashing thread. A hiring firm is trying to make decisions and our responses here will help .

Productivity at work depends on skills, nature of job, passion for job, the environment, colleagues and bosses, pay package, personal goals and expectations, etc. It has nothing to do with gender.

Men

Women this is because they work with passion

Other than the biological restrictions attached to womanhood, their emotional intelligence cannot be compared to that of men. Sparogatively, women have been proven to handle situations emotionally, whereas men handle the same logically.
Business wise, logic leads.

Productivity has nothing to do with gender. It’s all about the individual capacity and level of competence.

Unless you want us to judge base on the nature of the job like carrying cement and bricklaying.

What question is this, Productivity is a Mental thing.

Definitely, for a bricklaying Job, Men

For mental Jobs, I think it's not a question of Gender

For me I will say female are more productive that's why you see them occupying key positions in many companies now.

This is dependent on certain factors

It depends on the work, so don't blanket.

For example working with young children women flow better.

Men offcourse and men make better leaders too.


Women weren’t made to work so hard.

We are supposed to be soft and rest in our femininity.
