The bolded is where you are getting it wrong.

Nobody is "judging" this woman for anything.

She is being appraised for doing the right thing! And that's it. In an election where many many RECs were clearly compromised and wrong results were declared and asked to go the corrupt courts of technicalities, this woman stood firm and mandated only the correct results be called. That's a rare act I'm our political system worthy of commendation.

You will have a point if another person was being praised for the same thing and people were now selectively faulting it.

You don't expect the supporters of another political party to toot the horns of another political party. Before now I didn't know the case of Adamawa or the other person but we would have surely chimed in to praise the act if it became public knowledge.

There’s a reason why in most country before you can contest for the topmost leadership positions, you must have been born and raised in that country. Citizenship by birth.

It was the NASS that pass those bills in the first place now. After NASS passed the bills, they sent it to the State house of assembly for concurrence (2/3 of the state house of assembly must vote for the bill to be passed) before it gets to the President for assent.

In every advanced democracy, what politicians do is pander to their electorate, regardless of the demography of that electorate, what they don't do is violently suppress and intimidate voters or outrightly kill them.

In America for example, it's not about tribe but race, white, black, brown. there are predominantly white areas who experience an influx of black people or brown people and these demographies are very different. You don't see the politicians using force to suppress the new black voters. What they do is pander to the electorate, make promises to them, find various ways of aligning with them and seeing them as a voting bloc.

The same thing in Utah, where it's more of religious voting blocks, Mormons versus baptist and other protestants.

Or California and texas where you have Latinos as a voting block and try to formulate appeasing policies for that voting block to lure them.

What you don't do is use violence. That's not how democracy works.

Obi highlights the violent suppression and intimidation of voters and calls for proactive measures to be taken and commiserates with the victims of the carnage.

I have many Igbos as friends on Facebook who reside in Lagos and in the run up to the elections, I had reason to ask them why they support GRV but they had little or no tangible reason rather they kept on attacking Tinubu and the APC...if you go on Twitter, it's even worse.

Some folks even had to call out the Igbos in one Facebook group I belong to for not highlighting what was happening in Enugu and Abia as they'd do if it was Lagos...

A senior wealthy Nigerian politician, his wife and a medical "middleman" have been found guilty of an organ-trafficking plot, which saw them bring a 21-year-old man to the UK from Lagos.

Senator Ike Ekweremadu, 60, his wife Beatrice, 56, and Dr Obinna Obeta, 50, were convicted of conspiring to exploit the man for his kidney, in the first such case under modern slavery laws.

The Old Bailey heard the organ was for the couple's daughter, Sonia, aged 25.

She was cleared of the same charge.

The victim, a street trader from Lagos, was brought to the UK last year to provide a kidney in an £80,000 private transplant at the Royal Free Hospital in London.

He said he was promised opportunities in the UK for helping, and that he only realised what was going on when he met doctors at the hospital.

While it is lawful to donate a kidney, it becomes criminal if there is a reward of money or other material advantage.

When he was rejected as unsuitable, the court heard the Ekweremadus transferred their interest to Turkey and set about finding another donor.

The Ekweremadus, who have an address in Willesden Green, north-west London, and Dr Obeta, from Southwark, south London, denied the charge against them.
