How about you stop inferring what I mean and give me a practical example of how a culture "makes people who they are" ?

I gave an example of ibime in UK, how does him coming from ijaw "make him ibime who he is"?
Ibi.me is an Ijaw name. If it were the Arabs, they'd even add their native town to their name making their names usually long.

Your culture (whether the native ones or any foreign one you adopt) is what defines you. You don't have to agree, but it's just the truth.

What you want to learn online on this subject is better learnt from your people.

Here comes the gaslighter!!

The Mr "what is wrong with carrying money in bullion vans"?
I'm sure out of the love of his heart for Nigeria, he will find ways to decieve us again into questioning what we're just seeing with our own eyes.

Egbon there's no crime whatsoever, who knows stress and age may have taken a toll on AriwoOla's legs and he needs to unwind.
Many elderly people use the wheelchair option to avoid standing for long at airports. You can always indicate to airlines that you will want the wheelchair

So what if ibime decided to just be called , xae like Elon musk's child or something a simple name like glorious?

Secondly, you are still not explaining how exactly ones culture defines the person. Like how exactly ones culture defines the person.

All these your silly questions sha. What defines a person are things like their name, style of dressing, language, beliefs, profession. All these are aspects of culture or influenced by culture.

If Ibi.me decides to bear xae, that xae is from a language from another culture. Language is one of the elements of a culture.

Even if it's a nickname, it has become his culture and part of his identity.

So Tinubu cannot meet the CJN in Abuja

Tinubu cannot place a phone call to the CJN

Both parties cannot send associates to discuss whatever business they have

CJN have to disguise on wheelchair and travel to London to meet Tinubu

Culture is the software of the mind. All these monikers are the identities of people online on this forum.

The monikers are part of who they're online and show their culture.

Notice how immediately the story broke, this same person said gazette were publishing fairytales. Now actually turns out there is substance to the story. The same story this evil hearted person wants us to throw away to the bins immediately. All for primordial sentiments oo.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 11:46pm On Mar 23, 2023
CJN travelled on March 11

Tinubu was still in Lagos on March 18 voting probably traveled on March 20

But it was because of a meeting that both traveled

Good! Now we're actually heading somewhere. Although coming very late.
Now let's go back to where I initially used ibime as an example, a successful man of ijaw roots living in UK, married to a Canadian wife (just assumption) giving birth to mixed kids.
Now let's assume, ibime dresses in normal jeans and polo or trouser and nice iron shirts to office, eats burger and veggies and soup of different varieties over there with bagel, cereals and whatnot, many of things not usually seen here in ijaw land for instance and has no religious inclination, is ibime doing anything wrong at all despite living a good and worthwhile life?

Why should Ibi.me (just one person) based in the UK be the standard for millions of Ijaw people in Nigeria?

I don't know why a UK resident is the example you chose to discuss African culture? Is Africa in the UK?

Then, I don't know if Ibi.me has told you he doesn't engage in any cultural practice of the Ijaw people such as speaking the language, listening to the native songs, and others.

Even if he abandons the native culture, what point does that prove when he's not even based in Ijawland with millions of natives?

If I was living in the UK, I'd also be engaging in all these things you listed. But that doesn't mean I'd stop engaging in my native cultural practices or condemn my culture.

You don't expect an Ijaw man to be speaking Ijaw to an English man or dressing like an Ijaw man to work when he's in the UK.

Most immigrants do most of their cultural practices at home with their families or online.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by A001: 12:27am On Mar 24, 2023
If when in Nigeria, I'm in the native Yoruba attire and converse in Yoruba language most times, once you see me or hear me speak, you'd know I'm a Yoruba man or have adopted the Yoruba culture.

But if I move to the UK and start dressing like the Englishman and speaking like him after some time, if you come across me for the first time, you'd think I'm a black American who practice the English culture.

Culture is what makes or defines a man.

No way Obj no go vex. One small boy gomina when he had literally sent others like fayose into internal exile for misbehaving now at the very level he was.

And unlike the case Obj, Tinubu earned it and worked for the presidency. Those who want to take the lesson can take it. There are no shortcuts. Being adopted by a movement can only take you so far.

He never had nothing handed
Took nothing for granted
Took nothing from no man
Man he he own man
But as a shorty he allegedly looked up to the dope man
Only the dope man he knew that wasn't broke man
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 6:20am On Mar 24, 2023
Peoples gazette needs to give us a detailed list of EVERY NIGERIAN who is in UK right now. So we can decide how many Nigerians are in UK to meet with Tinubu.

For instance I know of Ibime and nihilistjnr. They are in UK right now. Ibime is also meeting with Tinubu to promote crypto. I have this on good authority. The less said about nihilist meeting the better wink
