Bayo onanuga has been spitting evil against obidients and igbos, from claiming obidients are ipob, to they burnt down lagos, to asking igbos not to participate as citizens in elections. Hmmmmmmm.......... I actually made up my mind to stay off Nairaland for the sake of my sanity, there's a crowd on Nairaland these days whose reply to issues can make you question if it's actually sane people posting these opinions. Back to the issue,I don't understand how anyone will open a thread and question the professionalism of a TV anchor,some other comments now try to compare him to a very rude and partisan anchor, while some comments end up dragging the cerebral Bayo Onanuga into their baseless comments. From the comments above,I notice many of these people don't know the history of Uncle Bayo Onanuga or even Seun of Channels. Seun was interviewing Asiwaju way back when he was still a Governor,I'm sure Rufai was probably still hustling as an unemployed graduate,how can anyone compare a Seun who has interviewed so many guests and understands the ethos of journalism to a Rufai whose only style of journalism is asking a question with his already predetermined answer. For those who have dragged Uncle Bayo Onanuga into the conversation,I dare say you were babies Durning the military Regime or born post military Regime. Bayo Onanuga is a giant in journalism,these were men who laid their lives for the democracy we enjoy today. He was one of the publishers of Tell magazine who were arrested and kept in dungeons to suffer for years because they stood up to the deadly military leaders of Nigeria. These men suffered a lot in the cause of standing up for their beliefs,and I see some comments trying to compare him to a rabble rouser called Rufai Oseni. What has Rufai suffered in the cause of fighting for a better Nigeria. Anyways that's what happens when you forget your past and allow an illetrate mob take over the discourse of a Nation. maintenant: How did Fayose got served? Rufai sounded stupid in the interview with Fayose. He was claiming a saint until Fayose reminded him that he is a braker of the law and an intimidator. He said Fayose was rooting for BAT, and of course Fayose didn't deny that but then Fayose reminded him that he also supported Peter Obi and the obidients movement, a fact he couldn't deny and all he could do was to smile sheepishly.
