I wanted to add it and Red Sparrow which both share similar themes but remembered they were divisive. They're very good enjoyable films to me but they're not so loved by critics and audience. They're divisive.

I don't see anything wrong with female led movies. You people just want to find problem where there is none. What matters is if the story is good and if the main character is not being shortchanged in order to promote a woman led film. It's not as if they're changing John Wick to a female Johanna Wicked. 🙄

by the way, those movies you listed were originally meant for a female lead and it turned out good, I've seen some and I enjoyed it. My point is in my first paragraph.

Well the divisive means, it's not generally accepted as either good or bad by the critics. The critic score is middling. Eg 50-60%. Or simply means opinion of the movie is mixed.

At times you have critics with low scores, while audience gives it high score.

The movie was actually a biopics of Evans the billionaire kidnapper who collects his ransom in million dollars.

Stellar cast and their performance were absolutely amazing. Blossom Chukwujekwu deserves a pat on the back for his performance, he really owned the Evans character.

Asides the terrible audio, it's actually a good watch.

Nollywood needs to seriously improve on this aspect.

I keep complaining about the terrible audio and video quality of almost every nollywood movie I watch. Including 2022 NW movies.
