Buhari didn't change party, but he withdrew from ANPP to form his own party CPC, then he merged with another party ACN
Emilokan Tinubu didn't change party, instead, he withdrew from AD controlled by Afenifere, created his own party ACN and merged with other parties ANPP, CPC, New PDP.
