Truth is much as it fits te stereotype that youthful energy is critical to government, this is not the case in practice. Macron and Trudeau have had difficulties in France and Canada while Biden is 80 plus.

It is far more important that a President be experienced enough to know how to enable the cabinet and energizer the civil service. That's not down to energy and charisma its more down to knowing how things work and knowing how to use state power effectively.

I am totally OK with a 71 year old President. Roosevelt one of America's greatest presidents, contracted a paralytic illness that permanently paralyzed his legs. He still turned in a great performance as Senator and President.

Buharis lacklustre performance was not down to physical well being. It is simply that his economic policies were dated and too infrastructure focused and then he had some global challenges. Nearly every world leader during covid lost the next election.

Going by his antecedent, Tinubu has alot to offer. Tinubu has the capacity and the capability to turn things around for good. He tamed atlantic ocean and subsequently defeated ocean surge,he reorganised Lagos Board of Internal revenue and IGR increased geometrically,he conceived and initiated the IPP( Enron project) which was frustrated by the powers that be as at that time.He strategically invested N4billion of Lagos money in Econet and later brought back N19billion. Tinubu may not be perfect,but he's far ahead of both Atiku and Obi when it comes to governance.
