Stop crying. I am happy that my post pained you hahaha

Owerri is a glorified village littered with dilapidated roads and filthy environment, that's why millions of imo indigenes prefer to live in Onitsha, Awka, Enugu and even Abakaliki.

Imo state is a cursed backward useless worthless shithole state .

Imo state has the worst roads in entire southern Nigeria. That's why most indigenes prefer to invest in Anambra. Lol

Atulu awusa

Grgton:
you are very stupid!
While Owerri is getting massive attention,
You are here talking about Anambra with the worst roads in the regio

Owerri is a glorified rural area ravaged by dilapidated roads, Owerri needs to be fixed and urban renewal done, if not millions of imo indigenes will continue to troop to better cities of Onitsha, Enugu, Awka, Asaba, even Abakaliki to live..

It is a shame that no other Igbo state comes to live in Owerri. Owerri should be demolished and rebuilt

Grgton:
unfortunately all of these three places you mentioned really need urban renewal especially onitsha.Owerri today is really overwhelming

See the horrible condition of Owerri

Soludo's plan is to advance the whole Anambra major cities of Onitsha, Awka, Nnewi and Ekwulobia, so that it will continue to lead in east. This is imo state has failed to do. Today Owerri is still an undeveloped glorified village littered with dilapidated roads and filthy environment. Imo state needs to develop, more especially Owerri.

FiRst time I am agreeing with you.

You obviously haven't been to Owerri in the last two or three months. The whole of worldbank and new Owerri are littered with commercial motorcycles. Okada is the major means of transportation in that area of Owerri. Ask anyone in Owerri because it is clear you are not in the town

Assa North-Ohaji South (ANOH) project expects first gas by the fourth quarter of 2023

Assa North-Ohaji South (ANOH) project expects first gas by the fourth quarter of 2023

The highly anticipated Assa North Ohaji South (ANOH) gas project will produce the first gas by Q4/2023, according to Seplat
The ANOH project has already achieved 95% mechanical completion.
Despite recording lower gas revenues in 2022, Seplat will focus on increasing its gas revenues through more utilization of its natural gas plants.
The Assa North Ohaji South (ANOH) natural gas project expects to produce its first gas by the fourth quarter of 2023.

This is according to findings made by Nairametrics after studying Seplat Energy’s 2022 full-year financial report.

The ANOH gas project, which has been referred to as a game changer, was earlier planned to begin operations in mid-2022. However, as cited in the company’s 2022 report, the project was pushed back due to delays in third-party infrastructure. The first gas is now expected by the final quarter of 2023.

According to the Seplat repor, the ANOH gas project has achieved 95% mechanical completion. The company said it has partnered with the NNPC Gas Infrastructure Company(NGIC), which is delivering the Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben (OB3) project, to spur pipelines to connect ANOH to customers. But there are delays owing to river tunnelling issues.

The company noted that two upstream wells have been completed by Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), and two more will be completed in 2023.

That area on the first pic needs a good highrise hotel

Don't why all highrise buildings in New Owerri are scattered across that area, instead of a particular district, they should be about two hotels with ten floors in New Owerri

Which kind of ùgly shopping design be this? Our people just built without considering alot of things, later they will be making noise they developed Lagos, when it comes to east they will build local branch and modern edifice as headquarter in Lagos.

One or two high-rise buildings here will put this area on a highbrow like Lekki and island. What does it take to build one that we can't just try and erect one? Okorocha started with few that is abandoned now, Hope should resuscitate that project, alot of billions lying still on that axis. What about the Modern carpark building Okorocha started then?

The point he is making is that you pay attention on your backward useless worthless shithole imo state. Clowns like you were all over nairaland hyping the substandard collapsed Owerri conference centre, but that time you didn't know that a worthless state like imo doesn't even have one reasonable industry except for brothels.

Ironically this retail chain is owned by Lebanese, one at Shirley mall ikenegbu and this one along pH road Owerri.

At least Igbo owned retail stores are better looking than this tufiakwa

Funding seems to be the issue, but the carpark project is on the front burner, but the Centenary towers is still been debated upon by the economic team for it's realistic best purpose as I was told.

Please what's the connection between Seplat and Shell on this project? This is the same multibillion-dollar gas project that Shell is constructing in Assa North, right? Or are they two different gas projects?

Secondly, what's the status of Adapalm?

It's one of the items, Hope Uzodimma got approval from FG to establish along the Coastline of Oguta lake, but it won't work until the needed infrastructures is put in place like dredging to the Atlantic ocean, and wharf infrastructures to receive cargo ships and loading of crude oil, although dredging is ongoing now, Navy is providing security there through their Naval base, Niwa is trying to complete their Riverport there also.

It's still at infancy shaa, but the plans for the area is super massive

Besides Futo is going to take over the defunct Marine University in the same area also.

Actually two different gas projects in the same vicinity, but symbiotic relationship, seplat will need feedstock from shell gas plant to run it's condensate plant, shell needs seplat pipeline for distribution instead of trucking

Adapalm is doing well under a new PPP, imo state government owns 12%, host community own 8% Roche owns 80%, it's currently operating with no issues, but moves are been made to expand the facility and introduce new subsidiary plants.
