All I m seeing on the post is children this children that , ward… Are children now writing Jamb ?…In our days before you write jamb must have been independent to some level.. This situation is normal cos when you get to Higher institution, this occurrence will be often and no parent to complain to |

Yampotatocarrot:does that matter? Jamb had a whole year to prepare for an exam that will last only 1-3 days. Yet it came up with this useless show of shame. Just how incompetent can one be? Imagine a whole year to do something and you can barely scale through? Even kids can learn to walk within a year |

That's where we have gotten to in Nigeria. Everything been done with a carefree attitude. That's why we need someone with a firm grip on the affairs of this nation. That's why we need Peter OBI. |

Mummyfour:That's why it's mock exam it's a complete mockery or Reno omokri, see a lot of things needs to be scrapped in this country, a lot of standard needs to be set unfortunately the present apc government is a scam that's why we need Peter obi to reclaim his stolen mandate to get things to work properly in this country |

Your experience is not differed from the rubbish our children were subjected to here in Ikorodu in one useless school named Elihans Cbt 5/7 Fatai Tomori Str. Igbo-Olomu, Ikorodu, Lagos State. None of the batch 2 students who are supposed to write the exam was able to do so despite staying till 4pm, only the batch 1 students who started their exams around 2:30pm instead of 7am wrote their papers. My daughter was so disappointed having prepared for the examinations only for JAMB to now let her down. |

Northernblood7:Bro it was terrible I got to our CBT 8am on Wednesday and I couldn't go home that day I took my bath at the CBT yesterday morning. Though we got to know about the IP log in Wednesday by Wednesday evening so we were already set untill the Technical Officer said she is unable to download. Even as a CBT staff I wanted to cry yesterday because it's as if we were not prepared. Parents were hauling insult at us calling names on what's not our fault. One parent even called the Annex Headquarters director and telling them to close our center that we were not serious and all that l.imagine investment of millions. Yesterday was terrible boss |

Mummyfour:We have been too silent in the country for too long. So Mediocre people are steeped in all our institutions from top to bottom. Its like hardship and Africa are mutually inclusive. Hence all these Issues you have raised will just get swept under the rug and unto the next crisis. It will not be featured in any local newspaper or report. No accountability culture, no feedback. No root cause analysis on what went wrong and how to prevent and fix the Issues from reoccurring. Before computers this was easy breezy , using an HB pencil and eraser, you checked your answer and submitted. With computers, you are dealing with network - I doubt it was tested prior to make sure it could handle the load. I am sure they knew all along they were thinking African time, all along ![]() |

Same sad story here in Lagos. You're lucky, the Registrar came to the candidates rescue, nothing like that here. Nobody was on ground to explain the cause, the solution. Children were tired, angry and depressed. It's very unfortunate. Mind you, candidates paid for this failed exams. My prayer is that things should be in order before the main exams. |

MartinsD12:We shouldn't need to politicize this. This is common etiquette and about not having standards in place, about not respecting other people's time. Its like we need the white man to put structures in place for us. |

HighQue007:Things have changed now. Then, if you never join 2 sittings together you never start. Then, if you never wear at least 2 different school uniforms for Waec you never know wetin dey. Then, no parent follows you to Waec or jamb office to obtain form. Now, to send a 300 level student across the road sef to buy amara go dey fear you. Now, na parent go wake up by 4 am to sit with a child who has an exam in order to force them to read. This is real life. By Wake Adenuga production. |

If only you know your powers, a simple notice on placard would sack the registrar yesterday, or even serve him query, to respond to the HOR latest Tuesday. But you don't understand your powers as citizens. |

rickleye:I made my voice to be heard on the issue today on a humanitarian program on radio I co- anchor. Some parents that were affected especially the ones that were manhandled called into the program today to join voices with me. Infact one suggested we should take our grievances to the ministry of education that jamb is under. I would never have allowed it go whether my profession as a journalist demanded it or not. It's really appalling when in a country of over 200 million people we have someone like the Registrar and his cohorts that would treat people like animals. No apologies, nothing. Instead they resorted to attacking parents. We as Nigerians are too docile and I hate this docility like crazy. I shout out when I have to and I stand up for what is right. I make my voice heard Even in places where people ordinarily would think a woman should shut up I looked him in the eyes and told him, we should revert to HB pencil and the man just looked at me like some one would look at a fly that flew into his kunu , because he knows that if they try it,no more huge funds for jamb all in the name of CBT exams |

sanniabiola:Nigerians are very docile. I got together some parents yesterday, who not only agreed to call into a radio program today, but also agreed to take it further. But unfortunately, the people that made the loudest noise decided to turn away when I suggested that we should take it further and farther. Why are we like this in this country. What you said is absolutely correct about us having the powers in our hands, but Nigerians too dey fear. They will tell you to leave everything in the hands of God. God sef go don tire to dey hold some things for Nigeria and Nigerians |
