Smart move by fr Alia. Recognising the leadership of both major tribes in the state, considering the palpable discord between both.

I'm genuinely curious to see how this Reverend father will lead. This has the potential to be the most transparent state government in Nigeria seeing as he has no motivation to steal. No household to steal generational wealth for.

I pray this Benue father doesn't disappoint.

You can not sit on a chair in a land where you are a visitor and make such dangerous and disruptive comments irrespective of the situation. Comments that are capable of blowing up Igbo people and their interests in Lagos.

In his position, he can ask for audience with the Governor on how to improve and protect the interests of Igbos instead of this nonsense. He has to be arrested immediately and that group or office banned until they understand their role.

No igbo son should support or condone this sort of behavior, irrespective of the situation. You are asking IPOB to come and secure you in Lagos like IPOB speaks for Igbo people! He doesn’t see that the consequences of such request can be catastrophic for Igbo people? After the stupid Ezes/ Chiefs and politicians have allowed this same IPOB to destroy the East, he wants them to go to Lagos? You see why I hate anything IPOB and swear for them on the daily?

Anyone that shows himself anywhere in Lagos should be blown away with serious shooting! This is shameful to me as an Igbo man.

Last November, West African Ceramic Limited (WACL) moved ceramic tiles (equivalent to 22 trailer-loads) by company-owned barge (M.V. Vega) along the River Niger, from their factory in Ajaokuta, Kogi State to Onitsha River Port in Anambra.
On the return journey, the barge (MV Vega) carried Laterite (a raw material for production of ceramic tiles) from Onitsha to Ajaokuta.

The distance by water between Ajaokuta and Onitsha is 162km. Tolu Ogunlesi
