Just saw this online news now that a blogger and relationship expert, Blessing Okoro remanded till may 30th. Just for a bail application hearing a blogger and relationship expert, Blessing Okoro in Nigeria remanded for two months .her bail application hearing will now be on May 30th 2023. This is not fair. I am not supporting her in whatsoever accusation she is facing but fairness matters in all. She is still an accused person and not yet convicted. I expert her bail application hearing to be within two weeks or less from the first day application was filed. Wickendness pays no good. Do you have any information about the case for you to second guess the court
Do you know if she previously refused attendance in court when summoned
Do you know the nature of her offense
When you get the answers to these questions then you might see the wisdom of such a decision.

She was in court. Like i said i am not supporting her for whatsoever she did that made her to be arrested and charge to court. My point of view here is simple . She is an accused person for now and hearing her bail application from date of her first apprarance in court should not be more than two weeks. I believe that decision is left for the judge as he has not gone beyond the law. I believe there is a reason why the bail hearing is fixed at that date.
My point is that we should not always believe we know more than the people whose job are to make decisions in their own professions as long as they are within the limits of the law.

We are talking about hearing of bail application here in a matter that is not a capital offence. Unless if you are saying that is how the law applies in your court then so be it. But over here in my country once an accused persons lawyer file for bail application in a case that is not a capital offence, it takes less than a week for the judge to decide . I think such is an international standard in court proceeding

Deviant as how, or you don't know the meaning of the word . Take it up with the judge or what do you want me to do about it . If you feel so badly about it, sue the judge

I am referring to you not to the Judge . How dear you say i should take it up witt the Judge? You could have remain silent if you do not know how to hold a constructive arguments as a conformist person than being deviant.
