Good evening to the whole house. Pls does the direct debit on my revolut account help my credit score. Would they consider it as they do for other conventional banks. Otherwise, should I move those recurring transactions to Lloyd Bank

Short response, No!
Long response, yes you can, when you're 60. If you withdraw before 60, you pay a penalty (about 25%). LISA is an instrument for saving towards deposit for your (1st) house or saving towards retirement.
Read more in the property and mortgage thread. See below 👇

Hi Semmyk,
For someone turning 40 by September this year, can the person still open the LISA let's say by July?

@vintagee You can actually open the account this very minute with just £1. You dont have to wait till you get the full £4000 to open the account. Open the account, what ever amount you have you put in it. Minimum amount to open is £1. So long as you are below 40 before you open the account then you are fine, even if its just a day before.

PS: there're gurus on LISA than I do.
On property aspects of LISA, I'll only reply on the property and mortgage thread.

Please, has anyone changed sponsor recently or applied for a new visa within the UK?

How long did it take for them to make a decision? I just want to know the timeline and assess if dey don't have a long waiting list so one can consider priority service.

The Direct debit payment would contribute, in building credit score .......

If payments are towards, Utility bills, vehicle insurance etc etc etc ........

Good day, everyone!

Please, it’s very urgent. One of my child's international passports has expired.

Do I need to renew it before applying for a PSW (graduate visa) or Tier 2 visa, or is only the current BRP needed?

I’m currently in the UK.

Please be kind enough to help with this information.

Also please can someone please share the link of renewal of passport if in the UK .

Thank You

Can I switch Starling / Lloyds?

You can switch to any bank, but to receive the switching bonus, there has to be an offer from the bank you are switching to. See link below for the current offers.
