My sister got a job with one of the ministries in abuja, she worked for over a year without pay. Last month she was paid 3months after a year

I need hear from genuine civil servants pls.
Total each candidate paid was 2 million.

I see most people commenting na scam na scam but I have a slightly different opinion.

1. Has she completed the documentation in the said agency and it has been confirmed that they are all in? Some indications will be to have written letter of assumption of duty and a staff file must be opened for all new intakes. Which means by now they must have been assigned staff ID number aka File number.

2. If number 1 has been done, the payment will now depend on the agency and how fast they can complete their documentations, pass to salaries and wages which will approve the new intakes, then pass to IPPIS if it is a federal govt agency for payroll capturing.

Your wife didn't listen to you? She should face the consequences of the scam herself. Do not pity her.

If I get 2mil na to do business be that , especially food items.

You take N2m get job, how much be the salary?

No be civil service job again? How much dem dey pay starters?

If that N2m is invested well, you can become a millionaire in a few years

I'm with u bro number 1 not done ,no ID card,atleast person suppose don get job portfolio,if fake as me suspect,I'll just cripple the man on one leg,problem is dat my wife put her whole hope on d job but iv told her severally Na scam,outstanding 500k was paid during Xmas with other applicants so the cartel had a nice xmas

From what I heard, capturing a newly employed FG worker has been politicised. If you know someone at the top, it may be easy for you, otherwise, you will have to wait for a while. In fact, a lady I know has been waiting for 18 months.

I have the same experience, a colleague wife is waiting for capturing. It is not a scam, almost a 6 months now.

In fact if I know your spouse personally, I will advice her to stay put and relax for 3 more months.Why are you complaining?

This is Nigeria where strange things happen. I met a guy online here in Nairaland who told me he wants to teach me affiliate marketing to my surprise he sent me a youtube link to watch video and was telling me how to save his phone number in a very funny way, then the youtube he spelt it youtu.be I sense red flag and japa is next. Money for training materials is what's next. Dem dey scam your wife.

Dude, she didn't pay a dime. The position was advertised, she applied and got the job.

Capturing a newly employed FG worker isn't done overnight. It takes time. Go and enquire from people in the know and stop getting yourself worked up.

Op capturing does not take long, highest within 10 days of receiving appointment letter. I can confirm because my senior brother was given appointment letter and it didn't even take him 5 days for capturing, my uncle called him to come for capturing at OAGF.

The funniest thing is that since she has plug already, she should have been receiving salary since December cos they supposed to start payment after 3 months of receiving appointment letter, but I doubt her appointment letter. Who go help you no go stress you. My bro that they even Kon give am appointment letter for house ne 😂. He only went to Abuja for capturing only, last year May. He has been receiving salary since July till date and they've not even started work. 😁 Nigeria sweet aswear. Incase you wondering how I know this much, my uncle work at IPPIS unit at OAGF Abuja, so na them dey pay all civil servants salary under IPPIS. Cheers 🥂
