If you are a geotechnical engineer, you can get one easily. There are other occupations like that in very high demand.

I'm in one already herein Nigeria. I'm sure of getting one when the time comes. Just that most people in my line go for UK the most but i prefer australia, heard australia visa takes time than UK maybe that's why they go to UK sha.

you can do it after you land. As it is called insurance, if anything happens like a medical emergency between when you land and getting the insurance, you are on your own and will be paying a lot of money out-of-pocket

If your visa has been approved, you can travel anytime from the initial entry date on your visa. Yes, you can start to work before school resumes.

Get your COVID19 certificate handy, you'd need it to apply for some works

You don't need any COVID test to travel but it is advisable to come along with your covid vaccine certificate.

There are lots of jobs for forklift driver.. especially if u are very experienced in using them…In fact, u are going to be dragged by a lots of agencies begging u to work for them… but they are quick to sack u if they feel that u don’t have experience .. it’s not a hard job tho… once u know how to drive and pick up loads, it’s gonna be very simple

Most jobs have good pay tho… from $30 to $38 per hour

there are different forklifts tho and u should be prepared so u don’t get taken unawares
Gas and Electric is common … and some forklifts have different type of pedals.. some 2 some 3

…it might be confusing at first but in a few minutes, you’ll get it right

I’m also a forklift driver jsyk… (nearly fell a truck during my first job)😂

Because there’s a high chance of u tipping over and destroying the load if u do things wrongly 💀

thanks Baba. I am currently in Tokyo doing my masters and will be done by next year September. I saw an institute here that offer training and license after training in forklift and I just feel it may be worth giving a try for future opportunities. I don't have any experience driving before but they said the Training will last for four days.

Yeah… it was after my training

I had to lie on my resume so that agencies would give me a chance

While on the forklift, I figure it out and learn from my mistakes

I want to move to Australia after my masters here because getting a Japanese passport is not attainable and Japan is not an ideal place to build wealth.

You have to look at the job market for your discipline. Mine was that of social science and to use it, I think going further to do PhD and eventually ending up in the academic world will be the cool thing. But I need money, international exposure and ultimately second passport.
