Way past long overdue.
It was patently obvious that he had lost control of the team like a hapless pilot of a stricken aircraft and was unable to motivate his players anymore.

This gradual decay is present in many other clubs just that management many times do not read the early signs of an impending crash where the coach becomes an onlooker of sorts in the dressing room, a lame duck in the dugout with the players not responding to technics and tactics they no longer believe in .

My concern now is with ten matches or so to go has Leicester not left it too late to avoid impacting the ground.

No mind that American. If it was Roman Abramovitch, Potter would be gone since. Chelsea Management hired Potter that was the Head Coach of Brighton that was below them early this season. Now Chelsea is below Brighton in the EPL table.
