Please try read that site again. This is not visa application fees but for documents legalisation or verification

The only clause is that the scholarship must be from Germany public fund/ Germany recognized organization…. I don’t think the amount your scholarship worth on OP case is a determinant, as long as you are going to bring in your Sponsorship letter or Blocked Account. ( your actual means of sustenance) whereby the scholarship is just a means for you to switch from cat B to cat A.

This is not entirely true as this figure you quote was not written on the checklist website…

I know of people that had the Deutschlandstipendum scholarship (300€ per month) and canceled their cat B and applied for cat A and they did their interview.

Most of the scholarship i have seen so far the range is between €850-750 and they did not go to interview with block account or sponsor letter

Getting the deutschlandstipendium scholarship (€300/month) qualifies you for Cat A. But I've heard in cases like this, you'll need to block the remaining amount required i.e (€934-€300)/month when coming for interview.

As you have rightly said, scholarship from a German public fund. But u can get the scholarship fez shaa, if the embassy doesn’t recognize it, u go know.

No amount is quoted on the checklist, and as far as I know, the scholarship is just for u to have a legit reason applying in cat A, as long as you have backup for your proof of sustenance ( blocked account or sponsor letter) you should be fine, we’ve heard stories of even cat B people intentionally registering for Cat A and they were allowed to do the interview ( not everyone have the luck though)

Having to wait 15 months for category B student visa isn’t fair at all .

Please those people u said you know that has been given appointment date and booked in Feb 2022, please which date in February did they book their appointment to be exert?

Also note that for some to be on the queue for 12 months, the date of start of lectures has already past, so the date of start of lectures don't really mean anything per say!!

Registration to apply for a long term visa / more than 90 days (work permit, Blue Card, AuPair, FSJ, BFD, other / NO FAMILY REUNION / NO STUDENTS)

If you do have a pre-approval letter:

Registration ONLY for visa under the Skilled Immigration Act (Fachkräfteeinwanderungsgesetz) WITH approval in advance according to § 81a residence act from your responsible ALIEN AUTHORITY in Germany
