Lagos state is the state most deserving
In 1967 12 states were created
They have all been split into 2 or more. Except Lagos state
e.g the whole SE WAS ONE STATE when Lagos was one state
there were 6 states in the North and 6 in the South the North has now become 19 plus Abuja
Lagos has not changed.
The South now has 16 states from 5
Whilst Lagos remains the same

What a silly set if people. What leverage do they have to make these demands.

Tinubu must ensure the Southeast produces the next Senate President of Nigeria.

Did the S.E even elect and APC politician? If yes, does that politicians have more tenure than other senators?

Tinubu can't create new states buy decree. There's a constitutional process to it. A new states being created is highly unlikely because it just means dividing the Allocation money further and disrupting current political balance. Both aren't in the interest of certain states.
