Despite claims in some quarters that foreign airlines may soon shutdown operation in Nigeria as a result of ‘trapped funds,’ it has emerged that that many of the airlines have since repatriated their funds from Nigeria. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2023/04/07/how-foreign-airlines-partly-repatriated-802m-trapped-funds-from-nigeria/amp/ 3 Likes 3 Shares

Democracy is a curse and is not what it is purported to be across the world, especially in Africa... I don't believe in a system where a group of a few thousand people calling themselves Federal Government will have the power to lord over the destinies and future of millions of other people be it for bad or for good. A system where the only time the people are allowed to have a say in Government or given miniscule power is every four years during elections.. Democracy creates an avenue for gross impunity and division, a tool which one party can decide to use for its own gain....Democracy is not for everyone, at least not for Africans as far as we can see.....We need to create a system of government that does not have way for anti people activities like killing or subduing them by the same government they elected when they decide to protest against a bad democratical system, such acts should be considered as a criminal offence against the said government. We need to create a system of government that is inclusive of the people in every decision making for the country, not only during elections.. Passing any single bill Into law has to involve the decision of the people somehow too, not just some stupid judiciary or house of representative or whatever they're called... 12 Likes 1 Share |

Spoken ignorantly , does this clown know Nigeria has the highest ticket rates becauy of our greedy govt and it bad policies , the ticket prices are high because of high govt tarriffs on each ticket and the inability to repatriate profit at will..Next time you buy a ticket look for the break down and see what your actual ticket cost is and what the evil Nigerian govt steals from you 18 Likes 1 Share |

This is why we need a standard national carrier, the next president should invest more in the aviation sector, and state governors should emulate Akwa Ibom. The state can also operate airlines, imagine that 600M USD out of the money is for Nigeria's airline business. So much money for the state & FG |
